I agree it's weird, the one guy in that thread said the NON SRT8 (the charger/300) were 114.3, but the Brembo brakes on the SRT8 required a different pattern (115). I can buy the logic, but that doesn't make it true... if I only had one to look at before buying a full set!!

So there are a few tools to determine bolt pattern, but wow there is such a small different! Like even within manufacturing tolerance I would guess!

Here is what I would guess would be the most accurate from amazon.

You can see the difference between 114.3 and 115

Image

Overlay the gauge like this

Image

But this would also work

Image

http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-WHEEL-BOLT-PATTERN-MEASURING-GAUGES-5-LUG-METRIC-y-6-LUG-5-LUG-4-LUG-B-/251239937178?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a7f11349a&vxp=mtr

Which I might just buy!

I like this one the best. There seems to be less room for error. Either it fits or it doesn't.

I'd just have to get some bolts and lock them down in the wheel holes and use the gauge. Now I just have to keep checking craigslist lol!

What steels wheels are you looking for? I plan on going to sand island/kahili tomorrow. Let you know what I find.

Not exactly, but that confirms what I read on lxforums, that a lot of the CHRYSLER 300 were 5x4.5, not all, but a lot. That leaves me with I think 2 OEM choices, basically the ones in the original post (the Steel ones and Machines 7 spoke). I am going to try and do some Chrysler Part# searches and see if those change at all between the years and variants of 300s (the AWD, C, and M)

Here is a snap of the chart:

2010 - 2011 Chrysler 300 5 lug 4.5 or 114.3mm Medium Offset
2009 - 2011 Chrysler 300 AWD 5 lug 4.53 inch or 115 mm High Positive Offset
2004 - 2011 Chrysler 300 C 5 lug 4.5 or 114.3mm Medium Offset
2004 - 2011 Chrysler 300 C AWD 5 lug 4.5 inch or 114.3 mm High Positive Offset
2004 - 2009 Chrysler 300 Touring 5 lug 4.5 or 114.3mm Medium Offset
1999 - 2009 Chrysler 300M 5 lug 4.5 inch or 114.3 mm High Positive Offset

So this leaves me with a few choices:

2010 - 2011 Chrysler 300 5 lug 4.5 or 114.3mm Medium Offset
2004 - 2011 Chrysler 300 C 5 lug 4.5 or 114.3mm Medium Offset
2004 - 2009 Chrysler 300 Touring 5 lug 4.5 or 114.3mm Medium Offset

The google machine shows that "C" and "Touring" editions are different between the US and Exports...this might be hard. I need to hit up a junk yard!

I want/need a 17" wheel (no wider than 7.5") with between no less than 4" backspacing and no more than 5." And of course 5x4.5" pattern. I have come up with SQUAT in aftermarket wheels besides CAR wheels, nothing that I would but on a Jeep.

If the above chart and forum posts are correct, I am down to these choices:

#2361

Or Glossy Black coated:

And the Rugged yet Basic Steel #2240 part number 04782466AC:

But NOT the Dodge versions... we'll see...

Any Chrysler 300 with the 2.7L (not AWD) they come with wheel covers normally. I am sure they are on more variants.

Search ebay for the #2240 or from dealership 04782466AC

Thanks Tom, I saw those too. Also the new explorer has similar wheels, and FUSION (but I doubt the fusion has the right BS)

Late to party but with regards to The fusion. The only difference between stock liberty and fusion SEL(pre2013) wheels is the hub size change from 71.5 mm to 67.15mm. You could even fit the fusion sport wheels but they are 18 inches. Assuming your machine the correct hub size on the rims or knock out an insert if it has it if your find ones capable of that. I have no info on the 2013 fusions wheels.

They both have 44 mm of offset and are as far as i'm concerned identical to the optional 7.5 inch wide 17 inch wheels a liberty comes with in some instances.

I have my old cheap steel rims from the liberty's winter tires mounted on my fusion with hubcentric rings with no issues, but thats going to the fusion from the liberty.

They will however, just like stock 16inch liberty rims, rub on your sway bar.

TLDNR: They will fit but take a bit of work and I proabably wouldn't do it unless you can get the hub made 71.5mm for cheap.

I want 5 of this style in a 15 or 16 inch, 4 inches of back spacing and 7 inches wide
when you find them let me know

Whats the backspacing and width of these ? Do you know??
I could go to a 265-70-17 in the Duratracs But I'll bet the backspacing won't work for me
Like the look though

That's a good deal. In my opinion, OE steel rims can be of better quality than some of the aftermarket companies such as cragar, etc.

I love the MOABs but after all these years I'm wanting something different looking than everyone else has anymore. I like the plain no frills look of those 10 hole steel wheels

As far as the 115 vs 114.3, I think the STEEL wheels would be the only ones that wouldn't have that much of a negative affect. If you do bump up to 17" wheels, I really dig the 255/75 tire size. C load range for the most and they don't stick out too far.

Affordable tires in that size:

About $150 on Amazon
