These wheels are all 17x8" / 5x4.5 / 4.5" BS, if the safety aspect of a 245 on a by 8 is too risky I'll be running 255/70R17 Cooper AT3's

I've narrowed it down to these 3. What do y'all think?
And I have a Inferno Red Jeep with a "wee-bit-o" black Herculiner on the old girl.

Bumping my old post since I've finally found a place in Anchorage that doesn't charge shipping for tires. ^^^

Why 17X8?
I'd stick to 16s , more tire choices
and 7 with 4 inches of backspacing works better

I was waiting on you to reply first Tom lol, I'm going the 245/75r17 duratrac route. I like tall skinny just not 235/85 skinny or a fat woman on stilts as you once said.

I like the bigger wheel as well 8)

Won't the 245 be just fine on the x8? I've had zero issues with my factory x7.5"

Two things is back spacing and width, width would pass if back spacing was 5 inches or so, or if width was 7 inches you could run a 4 inch back spaced wheel
Then you get to the tires and a 32 inch tire presents more issues with the backspacing
Tire / wheel combo is going to sit out past the flares some, creating rubbing, height of tires will add even more to that
Shorter tire would give less rubbing issues like a 245-70-17 or 265-65-17 would be better suited
Then of course no mention of regearing so.....
Yes I had to bring it up as well
Plus you're going to need more lift than what you have now, I know you've ordered the top plates but.......

I figured out what I'm doing finally, getting my Limiteds factory wheels powdered black with a wrinkle finish, adding 1.25" spacers and running those 245/75r17 Duratracs and of course 4.10's
