There's a good deal on a tire and wheel combo on 4wheelparts.com for superswampers on 15" rock krawler wheels

http://www.4wheelparts.com/4wp/packages ... tPacID=180

The tires are 31x11.50x15 though and I'm not sure that would fit our rigs. Anybody know for sure?

Either way there are also 31x10.50x15 SuperSwamper Trxus M/T Radial for $119

http://www.4wheelparts.com/4wp/products ... line=1687#

Seemed like a good deal and maybe it'll help someone out.

It's a jeep thing, my levels of perception are sufficient to ascertain your implication

15" rock crawlers fit, but usually in an 8" width, not 10.5 or 11. I would imagine you'd have all sorts of rubbing going on, and possibly trouble turning.

I have 31x10.5x15 on my KJ with a 15x8 wheel with 3.750 backspacing. I've got some rubbing going on with a 10.5" tire and think the 11.50" would be worse. Also, I'm pretty sure the 11.50 is a bias ply tire, but that may be what you're looking for.

i know folks who have rubbing issues with those ltbs on TJs so no way on a kj but the truxs should be ok

Thanks guys. Mutt you've actually inspired me with the pics of your KJ after the lift. I was hoping that maybe the backspacing of the rims would offset the width of the tire some.

I didn't catch that these were bias ply tires either, but I don't know how much difference there is between life of a radial tire vs. bias. Maybe it's huge.

Oh well, nice try I guess and thanks again for the info.
