Is anyone running the General Grabber AT2's? The price is great, and they have a much better warantee than the BFG All terrains. Here is a link to the tires I am talking about:

If any of you are running them, please let me know what you think.

I was looking at them too. I read the reviews on tirerack and everyone had great stuff to say about them even some KJ owners wrote reviews on the site.

I know. I was seriously considering the BFG AT's, but the tread pattern on these tires are really similar, and the reviews look really good. I am very tempted. I was hoping someone here would be able to tell me they were running 245/70R16's on stock suspension with these tires.

Take a look HERE and you can see what the 245/75/R16 OWLs look like all mounted up. I LOVE these tires, they are infinately better than the crapyears that some standard equipment on the KJ and the price is right. They're pinned for studs, not too lound, wear well and grip better. I can't say enough good things about them.

I just ordered them up in 245/70R16 for my stock renegade. They will be in the shop tomorrow morning ready for install. As a side note, they gave $50 a piece for my stock tires, so I feel good about the deal.

What kind of rubbing (if any) do you have in turns? Those tires look nice.

I have turned as tight as possible in a few parking lots over the last few days, and have not heard any rubbing at all. I have tried in drive, and reverse, and I can not detect any rubbing.

Im really happy with them so far, Have about 200 or so miles on them. I think I would rate them right up there with the BFG A/Ts I had on my last truck. See how they last compared to them.

YES! Perfect. I was originally looking at the 235s for my '03 Sport, but after seeing your rig, I think this 245/70R16 is the way to go for me too.

Very inspirational. :)

Did a little bit of off the highway driving in my Brother in laws subdivision where the roads arent in yet. I do get some rubbing, nothing thats really noticable. Just had shiney marks where the mud was rubbed off the inner wheel well in the front.

Lesrace82,

Thanks for the update. Any issue with the "pinch weld" I've heard so much about? I don't like the idea of taking a sledgehammer to my KJ. It will get banged up enough, I'm sure.
