There was a post on here but cant find it anymore. I'm looking for some solid black rims. I went to discount and said I needed an offset between 36 and 42. Is this correct? That cant be right. Will these fit

Anyone with some black rim pics and maybe a link to where you picked them up?

The rim in that link is a 16" rim, 8" width, 5.0" backspacing, that sounds very similar to a stock rim, which is 16 x 7 x 5.5. Moab rims have a 5.0 backspacing and work perfectly fine, so I imagine you'll have similar results

Here is a chart comparing offset to backspacing:

These American Eagle Wheels are 16"x8" with a 5" backspace....I've had the jeep for a few days and have had no problems. I'm running a BFG 255/70-16 Mud-Terrain Tire

The glass still opens properly too with the spare on the rear....

Nice lookin tires. How is the road noise and handling?

Handling has been great...hasn't rained here though since I've had them so not sure how they are in the wet.

Noise is bareable if you like loud music or can get used to it pretty quick, I don't mind it though personally. Kinda depends on how sensitive you are to it.

Got pics from the side of the KJ?

I'm looking for black steelies. I'd love cragar Soft 8's, but they don't make our size. I'm going to start a new thread just for this topic...
