I know, it's an odd size. I see the 235/70 on stock jeeps. Mine came with the 225/75 from the factory (slightly taller and skinnier than previous)

I'd like to go taller but not necessarily wider. The 245 series are too wide for my tastes. Mathematically the 235/75 seem to fit the bill. But I havn't heard anything about them.

There's a decent selection of that size over at TIRERACK including the Destination AT

I run an '05 Sport 4x4

Any thoughts?

I'd check out the 245/70/16. I know you said that was too wide for you, but I'm afraid the 225/75 is going to look like a bicycle tire on the KJ! Keep in mind that the 245/70 is only .2" wider than the stock 235/70, but a half inch taller. I think it accomplishes what you want AND LOOKS GOOD.

The 225/75 is what CAME STOCK on my Jeep.

Oh, and the 235/75 is not on the chart.

Code:
lt225/75r16   29.2 x 8.85

lt235/70r16   28.9 x 9.25
lt235/75r16   29.9 x 9.25
lt235/85r16   31.7 x 9.25

lt245/70r16   29.6 x 9.64
lt245/75r16   30.4 x 9.64

lt255/70r16   30.0 x 10.0

lt265/70r16   30.6 x 10.4
lt265/75r16   31.6 x 10.4

lt285/75r16   32.8 x 11.2

lt315/75r16   34.6 x 12.4

I made this chart myself (lots of math ;) ) It's as complete as I have found. I like the dimensions of the 235/75 on paper, but want some real world advice

the 245/70 is just about the height of the 225/75 I have now... maybe that extra width is what i need though :?

Thanks for the input though Skyjump... I'll definately keep that size in mind!
:P
