So in my quest to find cheap oil (ie… Under $150 a case) for my CRD GC I had to buy 40 cases of the Mobile1 5w-30 ESP Low Ash from a wholesaler. I only want to keep half of them so I would like to get rid of 19 cases for my cost ($100 a case) Please let me know if anyone wants to come pick them up or if anyone wants me to ship them. I will get a shipping quote to your door…. Even with shipping it will be way cheaper than getting this stuff from anywhere else… so let me know if you want them.

Wow! That's a lot of oil....................
I would have bought the AMSOIL European Car Formula 5W-30 Synthetic Motor Oil, which is recommended for your CRD. As a preferred customer 0ne case would have been less than $89.
An interesting site on oil called "Bob Is The Oil Guy" http://www.bobistheoilguy.com tells about on of the limiting factors to oil, is both time itself (with no motor use) and/or mileage use. The storage of motor oil in your garage, particularly mineral based oils, slowly ages the oil limiting its use later. Do not store huge volumes of oil in your garage that is exposed to extremes of temperature.

Fear Not! Walmart now has in stock the correct according to the owners manual 5W30 Turbo Diesel Mobile One Syn oil. Its priced around $7. a quart (you will need ten quarts). Filters are about $3. to 4. Finally a reasonable oil change for less than $100.00 ($88.36 done at Walmart) Seems that Mobile One re-thought their exclusive for this oil with Chrysler and Benz when they went different ways for 10,000 miles. 8)

I use Amsoil in our 2007, and love it. I am a "prefered" customer, and get it for $89.00 fo r a case of 12 quarts. I couldn't find the Mobil 1 when we bought the Jeep, and haven't regreted using Amsoil.
