You would get better response in the "CRD. . . Love That Torque" section. Much more traffic there, since that section is dedicated to the Liberty CRD.
As for your question, most owners on here would suggest an ECU tune from Green Diesel Engineering or Inmotion over a "fooler box." there are many reasons for that, both positive and negative, but the primary reason is that the tunes will increase performace and driveability while disabling the EGR and staying within the engine's physical limitations.
