Greetings from the UK - My '04 CRD Grand Cherokee Limited 2.7 Deisel needs a new transmission speed sensor. The vehicle started playing up in the very cold weather and is showing all the symptoms of a failure with this unit. Trouble is I don't know what transmission unit is fitted. All the infomation I'm been able to get is from http://www.wjjeeps.com which only lists US spec. vehicles. Would anybody here know if the transmission with the Austrian built Mercedes engine is a 42RE or 45RFE as the US build. Thanks in advance. TH |
