They shortened the 2013 production year to start producing the 2014 with a CRD. Does anyone know if it will be able to handle B100?

The new GC will use a Bosch fuel system, so there is no chance it will be rated for B100.

Will you be offering similar performance upgrades on the 2 WK CRD when I comes ere? Over 40k miles after you "fixed" my Libby and I am still enjoying it...

I was on the jeep.com.au web site to get info on their pricing. Here is what I found.

Between the V6 Petrol and V6 Diesel, there is a 6000 to 7000 difference
Between the V8 Petrol and V6 Diesel, same price.

So, figuring it may cost a bit more due to US EPA regulations, if you had a few grand to the Hemi version of the Grand Cherokee, you MAY get a pretty close price to what the diesel price may be. We won't know until they come out for sure.

Not unless it has a DEF system, which I don't believe the VM unit has. I believe it's strictly DPF, (although the Euro versin gets to Euro 5 levels with just EGR) which is why we have B100 issues (from what I've read), AND poor FE issues on recent diesel systems. Everybody was crying about how they didn't want the additive and all of the "problems" that they thought would come out of it. Now, 5 years later, just as I expected, everyone is realizing DEF was the way to go, and even the 2013 Cummins in the Ram HD Pickup will have it (as the Ram HD Cab & Chassis has for a few now, without the issues that the straight DPF has, including poor FE).

It won't be "rated" for B100 but no manufacturer covers pure bio. The Liberty CRD is rated at B5 and I want to say that some other manufacturers have endorsed up to B20 but haven't seen any higher than that.

Assuming you have access to high quality bio I don't see why it wouldn't work just fine.
