 Post subject: 2005 liberty CRD

The turbo in my liberty blew apart last week. Mechanics are telling me that metal fragments got into the motor and made it to oil pan, is this possible? Im in Colorado and would love to find a good CRD mechanic who can give me options and do repairs.
