It is! Anyone running Duratracs will confirm their gas gauge drops really quickly. My KK can :5SHOTS: 1/4 tank on a 60 mile highway trip. I'm lucky to get 250 miles per tank.

You can check out my Fuelly in my signature below to see my mileage records going back to when my KK was stock. Major changes like adding a roof basket, lift kit, and Duratracs are recorded in the fill-up notes. I used to get 23.7 mpg on long highway trips! Now 17 is more like it.

I actually got 17.01mpg (after calculating true mileage) coming home the other day from DC (after alignment 4" lift alignment), I have no idea what I did right haha. I also got mistaken as a Commander filling up there too.

Gorilla taped the foot plate on the doors. Hate getting that part scuffed up and the Gorilla tape looks great and replaces easy.

Also ordered the radiator skid plate!

First, I finally got the full sized spare on. (245 70 r16) Cooper Discoverer AT3s Not a super aggressive tire, but good for me and the light off roading I do.

And then my OEM receiver (and wiring) came in the mail...

^^^^^^^^ Looking good! Always good to have a full size spare. Now you can and should run a 5 tire rotation.
I haven't done anything to the KK but fill it up today.
Another impressive tank. 351.1 miles/18.2 gallons = 19.29mpg

The mpg decline starts! I got 17.9 this last tank and a little more than half that was with the DuraTracs. It's not a huge hit but that'll change.

My a/c never gets used. Never idle. Coast as much as possible.
A great way to increase mileage is drive like you have no brakes.

You also have the 4.7 TB, CAI, and a hypertech which I can't get for my 2011 :banghead:

Might be time for me to invest in a 4.7 throttle body. You can get them off a wj right? Any other models?

I recommend all of my mods... especially if you can find them for cheap.
The biggest way to save fuel besides not driving is adjusting the nut behind the wheel. :ROTFL:
