These things hate low voltage. Are you sure your battery is fully charged?
Wow am i POd ...thanks a million Scar0, i guess it just didnt have quite enough juice to crank. Didnt have it jumped for more than 2 minutes and it started right up. ridiculous...
Your welcome. When my battery went dead I had all kinds of funky things happening. Dash lights were flashing, relays were buzzing, CEL was on, and other strange things when I turned the key to try to start it. It looked and sounded like the rig was going to BLOW up!
I hooked my charger up to it and that is when I discovered the battery was "bad". But it was not bad! The charger I have, saw the computers in the rig were still drawing power and said the battery was bad. I disconnected both the rigs cables from the battery and it charged right up.
That is when I discovered you should never charge the battery with an external source when the rigs cables are hooked up. Many 110v chargers use a fluctuating Amp charge (using high/low Amp fluctuations) which can damage the rigs computers. I got lucky when I tried it, no harm done to the rig.
