I've been out for awhile, mostly just on Facebook.
For those not on Facebook. Here are some updated photos and info about the new JBA LT IFS suspension kit being developed. (Posting it here because there isn't a LT IFS section like there is an SFA swap section.)
The hope is to have the prototype finished by the end of the month.
Currently it has 20" of travel in the rear, and is projected to have around 20" up front. It will fit 37" tires.
The front has a ford 9" IFS diff, longer A-arms, longer RCV cv shafts, a Suburban 2500 steering box, an ~10" cradle drop. The rear has a trussed JK Dana 44 with a triangulated 4 link system and a relocated gas tank.
Front and rear sit on 16" ORI struts. It will probably be an option on the kit, but mine is locked with the stock Rubi e-locker in the rear and an ARB up front.
A little trimming will still be required.

Yes I have! It's been a long time coming. I'm just happy to be seeing progress made on it.

More updates! This is not the lower a arm mount for the struts. This is just a mock up to check lengths.

Just a tip..................................

Don't mount those rear air struts in the shock mounts. That is a major disaster waiting to happen since those pockets are not able to bear the load of the vehicle. There shock mounts. You should mount the air struts directly to the center of the original coil spring cup.Same goes for the axle end also, not the best idea to use those shock mounts either.

You'll get away with it for awhile but that 1st real offroad trip may end badly with that current configuration.

Thanks for the tip. I get where you're coming from, but they are being reinforced. Hopefully enough, though.

Looks good. I see no camber change on up travel, do you get any on down travel? I see the gas tank is in the spare tire area, did you cut the floor out to move it up more, and is it the same size? I imagine a custom rear driveshaft is coming too.

Most importantly, can you share any secrets about the whole axle swap and getting it to work?

I don't think there was much or any on the down travel. If memory serves the gas tank is from a TJ, the floor isn't cut out though, its just bolted under the spare tire area. The drive shaft is custon/modded factory drive shaft.
As far as electronics, that's the next hurdle after the steering linkage. The steering linkage will hopefully be done by tuesday.

Advice for the driveshaft...just change out the transfer case yoke to a 1310/1330 yoke. Then you don't need a weird one and it's easier to service. But since it's done already...haha.

If it is done by EJS 17, doubt I would be able to make it :( . Marlin might take it out there for display though.

It's getting close to being complete. It still needs to be tested for electronic bugs and tested off road for clearances.
