Unfortunately not, I ask some of the welders i work with to help me, I also asked for some welding classes ;) so i can do those projects on my own. The design is pretty solid but there is room for a improvement.

Yes, I used the same mounting holes as the tow hooks, and it takes 4 M10 bolts so it is pretty solid, and all the construction is ribbed and guesseted form the back. I actually stood on the end of the wing and it never moved.

I finally got around to replacing my lower ball joints. While I had the suspension torn apart, I also finally added the other 1/2 inch of lift via the clevis spacer in the front. Now I have 3.5" total lift in the front and 3" total lift in the rear. I was going to put the second isolator in the rear to get 3.5" lift in the rear, but I like the look i'm getting now. It looks more level than it did before. :JEEPIN:

Think I'm done. Still on the fence for a new rear steel bumper. Not much more to add that won't void the lifetime warranty. Might go one more inch on the lift but will wait till the currently looses it's ability to keep my azz from dragging. :goink:

By the way.. Front bumper by no other then.. At The Helm.. :pepper:

Oh, and thats my red KJ in the back ground.

Sorry guys!

Nothing major to note, added winch and made the provision to the bumper to fit. Completed the scratch built trailer and have had a couple little camp trips earlier this year.

160K and still going strong

X2! Love the adventure trailer. The matching Duratracs on the rig and trailer are a nice touch.

Looks pretty obtainable to me. Just might take some time, especially that trailer. Do it right and take your time, and that trailer will hold up and can be later reconfigured for future 4x4s.

Looks like a $3k max budget... Pretty cheep compared to other trailers. Mine is expected to be well more then double $3k...

Welp, took about two weeks and one bad ring gear but my project KK is now running 4.56 gears. Pulls great, hopefully getting a little MPG back too. Mopar skids go on this weekend... Need to dig up the thread I saw awhile back that was talking about the installation of those. Added bonus, she can now wear this sticker I got her Image

Let's see....

Removed front bumper, cut off front radiator framework from the "frame rails out" and some of the inner wheelwell. Trimmed front plastic fenders to mimic a JK type look.

Fit 33" tires, Sawzalled/hammered untill they didn't rub.

Considering lift kit/sas options as 33" tires are really the largest I want to fit. Good lift kit with RCV shafts may be just fine...still in mental debate.

Next plan, sliders.

Getting rid of its inherent hindrances thus far. Those have been clearance (low slung on factory 29" tires) and bumper/rocker overhangs. Hit the plastic rocker guards and front bumper plastic on its first venture on a mild trail.

Are you wanting to build it yourself?

You're going to need a lot more work and money then you think you do to fit 33s and be able to use them.

I'd build your armor up before you do any of that first.
