hi,
just been a little to heavy handed removing fuel filter housing assembly ( later type) and have damaged the fuel heater wiring plug on the heater itself not the loom, so have left unplugged.
i have ordered a new one but 3wks away, joys of living in NZ with dealers carrying no stock. no fuel leaking/ or air leak but engine warning light on and in limp home mode, drives fine but no auto trans kick down. any ideas if it a it just requires resistance ?

Do you have a DTC you can post?
Did you try a Neg(-) battery disconnect for 10 minutes? This will reset the computers if it is a glitch.
