Tonight was not my night for dealing with people. I swear tonight was going to be the night that I would have hit someone lol. It all started because my girlfriend was upset so we went for a ride. We decided to head out to Montauk point (the end of Long Island). It's literally an hour and a half long ride from where we live. So we're on the highway and as you get out East it drops from 3 lanes to 2 each way and literally has no lights. First, there was a ton of traffic for being 11:30 on a Wednesday night. So we come up and there's a guy sticking with traffic in the left lane. Flashed the highs for him to move over so I didn't have to weave and he decided he was going to slow down and then proceed to flip me off when I flashed him the highs AND spot lights. Like really dude? move over so I don't have to be that Richard that weaves. So I get around him and about a mile down the road I pass this guy in the right lane. The minute I pass him he gets behind me and puts his highs on(nobody was even in his lane). Now at this point I would normally lock the tires up, but my girlfriend was with me so I moved over slowed down and gave him my highs. He brake checks me, so he got the spots(which if you guys ever seen them on would know are aimed to hit mirrors...). He learned his lesson and moved back over leaving me alone. The rest of the way out there was fine, til we started coming home. Most of those roads vary speeds, 30-35mph going through towns, 40-55mph areas randomly. All pretty much one lane per direction and random passing zones far and few in between. Now it's late so I'm rolling, normally averaging anywhere from 45-65 sometimes 70. Came up on an old lifted 4runner, that guy was cool. He was doing the speed limit, so I gave him his room and when I had the opportunity to pass I did so. Next was some car that decided he had to do below the speed limit. That's what I hated. He kept playing with the gas and kept braking randomly. Flashed the highs to try and get him to pull over for me to pass when he decided to do 10mph under the speed limit. That's when he decided to flip me off when I passed him. I don't get it... Tonight was just Richard central out East. I won't lie, I would have followed the guy making his next few miles a living hell after that, but we were passing a 7-11 with 2 police cruisers sitting in the parking lot, so I was extra nice...

Sorry guys, had to rant lmfao BTW, I do need more lights. I need to find a way to tastefully add some...

I absolutely hate when people are riding in the right lane and holding up traffic. In certain states it's illegal. Usually in my KK people just get out of the way, but not in my wife's car.

Just a word of advice.. People are insane and you never know who could have a gun. I've seen some scary crap while driving around down here. People just seem to lose their mind when driving. Its better off you get to where your going safe than to have a pissing match on the interstates.

I was actually really calm. I just dot understand where these people thought they were in the right meanwhile they were the Richards. I wasn't blinding people on purpose or anything. The worst I did was flash my highs to pass. I didn't tailgate or anything.

X2 to LKW. The other driver might not be calm, and combined with a gun, the results could be tragic. Flashing your lights at someone might be the last straw for them at that moment, even though it makes sense that you should be able to pass. To someone possessed by road rage it doesn't matter if you are in the right. It's all about their skewed perception of reality and how they react without considering their actions. Too many crazies out there who are normal people when they are not behind the wheel. I hate driving in the Philly area. It just seems road rage is a communicable disease down here. Maybe the overall percentage of enraged, self-entitled drivers is the same everywhere, but where the population density is high, we are just more likely to run across them.

Check out this classic 1950 Goofy cartoon for a few laughs. (Loved this one when I was a kid.) Road rage has existed as long as we've had cars.

Gave him a bath today and afterwards noticed that my crack across my windshield has expanded... So it now starts on one side, goes to the other, and now straight up... :(

Underestimated the ability of the vehicle, that's an understatement. Better tires may've helped.

What a dummy. Why not just park where it was still dry? What did he do before he had the Cherokee, walk perhaps?

I think the smart technology on the Jeep started the fire to dry the mud out to take the owner where he wanted to go.
