I'd take half the payment and put it in a savings account. Use that to start building a future towards a house, wedding, etc. Then the other half throw in your pocket for your leisure.

I'd say save half for a house downpayment or several months living expenses to keep in reserve as a safety net. The other half can be for fun stuff. :D How about a road trip to the Lost Jeeps Safari in Ouray, Colorado in August? :JEEPIN:

Thanks for the ideas guys. This morning I'm switching over my car insurance I mentioned a few weeks ago. Even more extra $$$.
A vacation sounds great!
If I were to put the money toward the Jeep, it'd be JBA upper control arms or a custom dyno tune (not sure if possible for the KK).
I'm pretty good at saving my money, so it'll be nice to see my savings grow even more. The new job has been helping out a lot with finances and emergencies.

At your height you're fine with stock arms. I'd run them the way they are until they need to be replaced or you find a good deal on used arms.

Save for a few weeks, then plan a nice vacation as a celebration for the new job, paying the Jeep off and anything else that happened. After that start saving for a house, marriage, the future.

Does anyone know if it's possible to remove our headrests?

It is at least the back seats can. When I bought my KK it was missing one. They took one out of a Renegade and gave me it instead.

Rear is pretty easy. I think the fronts require the backs of the seats to be opened so you can undo the active headrest stuff.

So I noticed that my high beams aren't working.. I had to use them when driving on the highway the other night, and when I tried to flick them on, they flashed (noticebly brighter) and then went back to the normal beam? Any ideas what it could be. They're brand new bulbs (Philips xtreme vision)

Yeah, I'd hate to replace what isn't broken, but would love to rock JBA arms one day.
Most serious thing I have to save up for is the police academy if I ever still plan to go. Life through me a curve ball with my recent job promotion that I don't mind one bit.

In the Jeep world you break something just to upgrade!

Been thinking about my KK a lot lately. Kind of miss being a part of this forum. Can't say there is a Wrangler forum that compares.

In other news I installed a superchips programmer which is like the hypertech on my JKU. What a difference.

It's always nice to hear from ya!
Not sure what the best programmer is for the Wrangler, but Hypertech makes a great one for it with many options.
How much more HP and TQ?

It's plus 30 HP and torque. I also updated my speedo to my bigger tires. There's other things I can do but that's all I needed.

I wish I had funding towards a programmer haha. I just need this insurance check and fix the damages...then on to 4.56s and 33s!

So there's a set of four fox shocks meant for a JK with 4"-6" lift. I'm verifying the part numbers but for those of us who have 4" of lift in the rear. If I get these for I'd want to sell the other two. Any takers?

Seems like they would be a little too long for you. I'm sure you could sell the other two fairly easy if you needed to.

Well because I don't have part numbers I've found them from 16"-26" (same as my current Bilsteins) but there's also 18"-28" which, is a little long, but will be nice when I add some isolators up top for 5" lift.

They might work with the right about of bumpstop. Obviously you'll give up some up travel, but you'll get more drop.

Go for it. Especially if it doesn't cost much and you just weld it on.
It's much more fun to drive the Liberty when you can hear it.
With a CAI and exhaust, the combined sound is nice and allows me to better control the throttle due to the sound.
