Well because I don't have part numbers I've found them from 16"-26" (same as my current Bilsteins) but there's also 18"-28" which, is a little long, but will be nice when I add some isolators up top for 5" lift.

They might work with the right about of bumpstop. Obviously you'll give up some up travel, but you'll get more drop.

I'd add a hockey puck and extend my brake lines first. But I think I'm just going to measure how much I need and then use normal rubber lines iinstead of the expensive braided. In places I'm worried about rubbing I'll add a thicker jacket.

Is the KK the only 3.7L that needs to regear in order to move up in Tire size?

I'm seeing tons of Dodge Nitro's, Dodge Dakota's, Jeep Commander's and the Grand Cherokee's always move up top 33's and 35's without a problem. Should they not be regearing immediately or before as well?

I was wheeling with a WK on 33s that had the 3.7 and he couldn't climb up an obstacle that I was able to walk up on (I mean I floored it and the tires speed dragged me up). Where as he couldn't get that hill due to no power to spin the wheels fast enough. (He had brand new 33" Duratracs and I have my 1/3-life General Grabber AT2s).

So do you think that most of these 3.7's that do get 33's or whatever, half of them are mall crawlers or just plain out give a ****? Lol

One of the issues is that many do not know how to properly build a 4 WD that does good on and off road. A common misconception is that you lift one/ install larger tires so you'll lose power and mileage and there is nothing you can do. The fact is that when geared right you still have the power you did stock and while you lose some mileage not as much as without .
Used to be you knew but anymore too many are building for looks and think " Oh I don't need to regear since I don't go off road"

Yeah I see waaay too many 4x4 vehicles here with 2-3" lifts and 33's all the time, but I can bet $100 on each that none of them regeared. I want to regear so I can fit 32's or 33's, just wish it wasn't soo expensive. Maybe I'll win the lottery some day :ROTFL:

Even with the cost of regearing its worth it
Say you go from even a conservative 18 MPG to 15 MPG after you lifted/ installed larger tires, it doesn't seem like much
But figuring gas at 3 bucks a gallon and driving 40,000 miles you have already more than paid for the gears and installing them.
Assuming you went back to about 18 MPGs

For what it's worth, the other 3.7 powered Jeeps/Dodges get different transmissions. That might allow for them to run bigger tires without a regear. With that said, I know for a fact the 3.7 WK/XK guys need to regear when going to larger tires. The only ones that get away without doing so are the v8 owners, specifically the hemis. Even they have limits though.

Officially switched to Progressive insurance. Still can't believe I'll be saving $1,000 a year by doing so.
Once I get my insurance card in the mail, I'll cancel my old insurance. Hopefully I get reimbursed a little money since I'll be ending my policy a little early.

No matter if V8s or whatever powertrain you have you still need to regear for the tire size. With a V8 you may have some extra power to overcome somewhat BUT its still lugging the engine . For example my 79 F150 with 351 M, that I bought new and built up with 4 speed , shortbed etc had enough power to still burn the 38s when I installed them but after going from 3.55s to 5.13, wow, what a ride

Same as the Diesel guys saying they don't have to regear :ROTFL:

Ugh... Filled up my tank this morning. While I was happy that I got gas for $1.96/gal (after the $0.23 off discount from rewards points), my tank decided to burp on me. I was 1/2 of the way to work on my 50 minute commute, and it burped enough gas to get all over my clothes. I had to go home to change and shower again, then turn around and go back to work.

I know others have had this issue fixed for free at the dealership. I found TSB# SB-14-003-13, but when I log on to the Mopar website and put in my VIN, it says that all recalls are up to date. My question is: would a TSB like this show up as a recall, or is it only for vehicles that experience the issues in the TSB? I am out of warranty on my KK. It's a 2008 that I bought in December 2013.

Print it out and give it to them. That was the only way they knew what I was talking about it.

Where can I find a full copy of the TSB? I can only find the number, and a brief description. Every site I find wants me to pay to see the full thing, or did you just print out the description?

I had to call around to three dealers to finally get one to recognize the TSB. So if you're normal dealership won't go for it, try the next closest one.

I also went in with almost a fully empty tank, and the whole switch only took about an hour while I sat there.

Since it's dark out, felt it would be a good idea to adjust my headlights since my buddy said it seemed like they were too high.
This is going be trial and error. Going out soon, so I'll see if my first shot was a success or not. I don't want to blind anyone, but at the same time, need to make sure I can see what is ahead of me.

Let me know if you're able to adjust the fogs. People flash me constantly and I think it has to do with them. Since the light output of these things is less than desirable, I run the fogs constantly. Especially since it seems like it's dark 20 hours a day here.
