What have you done to your KK lately

One thing though... I have some new noise... like old worn out bushings, or rubber on metal or a light metal to metal... need to get that figured out before I freak out. I first noticed it while low speed and parked steering but it also does it on any slight bumps in the road.

I think it is the control arm hitting the opening where it comes out of. I never made them larger.

No not like that. Are you sure yours is from the front? I think the rear trackbar turns on the heim joints once in a while and makes a clunking noise in the rear. Mine is coming from the front right for sure. At first I thought it was the bushings that the alignment adjustments are on but its definitely more towards the spindle, might be ubj lbj tie rod or (GASP) :shock:

cv. Mine sounds like something hasn't been lubricated and is rubbing together.

same thing as the AEM... just a mopar sticker and a blue filter... i believe its also dry flow too ( doesnt need to be oiled)

The last time I asked my dealer about this, they couldn't find CAI option or accessory for the KK. Is yours for the KK or some other product?

Yes AEM but sold as a MOPAR CAI . I wanted a Mopar dealer sold me one it didn't fit.Did a lot of checking and found out it was made by AEM. So then I knew that the CAI for the Dodge NITRO,would work. I used the tech, write up here for the 09KK. My install was the same. I must have misunderstood that the 08KK fit right in with no MODs needed.

Got my sliders painted up and installed. I thought they were fairly easy and I heard they were kind of a pain. Took me about an hour and a half for the install, entirely by myself. :mrgreen:

lol... how you been man... i havent gotten a chance to talk to you in a while... big tings coming up for my jeep real soon... and lots of them!... lol i meant to ask you ( since my dad broke or lost mine) where did you get the rivet gun and rivets used to put the front bumper back on? I'm buying hooks from dirty KK and i'm also putting on the JK light bar so I can bang that out in one shot and make it easier with the bumper off...

lol so much sitll needs to be done
i need to put in my lift( which keeps getting bigger lol)
i need to do my new lights
i need to fix some old lights
gotta install my roof side rails
getting the OEM hitch( gunna put a D ring in it)

so yeah lots of new stuff to come... how about you any big plans?( or little ones)
