I agree with Tom. I'm not sure where ARBs weigh in, but I know they're fairly heavy. And winches weigh a lot more than 20lbs, especially when you run cable lol.

Honestly if you want super heavy duty run the OME 790(I think that's their number, it's the CRD springs). Add the 3/8" clevis and 1/4" top plate, a-arms, 731 rear springs, 2 extra rear upper spring isolators per side and shocks of your choice. All in all you're looking at about $1400 to you door. And BAM 3.5" of lift. The only down side is on big bumps or when you hit bumps while heavy on the gas, the upper a-arms will hit the springs. If you go JBA coil overs you won't have that problem.

The extra weight on the 927s might actually ride really nice. Ask Morgan, that's his setup and I know he tests his bumpers first.

You do know there are other ways to lift, I ran an ARB front bumper, tons heavier skids / rockrails etc than what you have with OME 927s for 100,000 miles. No problems at all. Also had the same bumper etc when I tested the Ironman again at 4 inches of lift and no issues. Of course if you think you need extra the OME 790s are always an option as well and rated at 500 lbs will hold up anything
Agree the coilovers are the best out there for sure BUT there is other ways to lift / and get rid of a crappy ride on spacers

yep, I know very well there are less expensive spring lifts. but if I buy a 3 or 4 inch lift, I want it to be at least that. the only downside of the coilovers listed, is that I have no choice of the shock. if I could get a 3.5 inch spring lift that could hold the bumper and a plow that I will be putting on in 2018 or 2019. assuming the springs and shocks hold up past that time frame. id like to do the full spring lift next year, 2016 spring or summer time. the plow will be 400 - 500 LBs.

I've had mine for 2 years and haven't sagged. If I have it's probably about 1/8". Something you won't notice. That's the thing about heavy duty OME. The 927s are 400lbs springs. ARB makes great quality products.

$3300 is a lot more than spent haha.

$1600 - JBA HD spring Struts
$400 - JBA UCAs
$190 - 4" JBA Springs
$140 - 4" Bilstein 5125s

$2330 - Total

Now granted I still have yet to purchase the extend SS brake lines, adjustable rear track bar, and extended front/rear sway bar links, but for about $150 you can build your own track bar, and a rear sway bar delete hasn't bothered me (I am really liking getting the JKS Disconnects though). Also, if I had to do it over again, I probably would've bought the struts with Fox Piggybacks over the Bilsteins.

At first they're very stiff. But with in a few hundred-1000 miles they break in nice. For me, that was literally a week or 2 since I was doing about 100miles a day. Now they're stiff, but not jarring. They soak up bumps, but as always you'll feel the bigger ones. The biggest improvement is off road. They don't bounce you around as much and smooth a lot out.

You also have to remember I run 927/731s with the brush guard that's about 50lbs, skids, and sliders(100lbs) so I'm not that overweight. When the lift was new the front wouldn't really dive as much when braking, now I notice that the nose drops a little more.

NAM, now JBA offers their own brand with adjustable valving. You can fine tune the bound and rebound. They aren't remote reservoirs, but as long as you aren't desert running with high speed whoops and jumps, they will work great. If you pre run you KK, then the Fox will be better just because it'll handle more heat and abuse.

Whoa......

Anyone want my current JBA Struts? These are SICK

On a criticizing note for the JBA's clevis. Why doesn't he just have a clevis that allows other after market coilovers to be installed? Meaning you can just have a standard eye-to-eye coilover that connects as is in the top and identically on the bottom. Instead we have to use one that is screwed on.

I asked him about swapping mine for the new ones. He is currently working on a trade-in system for those interested.

Guess it's a good thing you haven't installed the JBA coilovers yet...

Took me all of 30min to start tearing apart my Jeep to get these in haha. Although, you do still like your suspension...Daystar killed mine and driving was awful.

Mine is still good aside from a squeak because of a slightly loose nut. I just never had time to sand it down and repaint it all. Now I had time, just the weather didn't cooperate.

front strut plates sound loose again... they bang, not rattle. and that's why I over torque my bolts. the mechanics probably torqued it to regular car specs. I should have told them to do 60 ft. lbs on those bolts like I did the first 2 taredowns...

lock tite was used, bolts are still on tight, just not tight enough.

Its just the lift you have, much harsher ride so knocks everything loose

and as far as a lift kit lasting, my 927s made it 100,000 miles with ARB etc. Funny some of these comments
