Um, not really a good point. More like a "Why'd you bother to post?" point.

I am SO with that! I'm thinking of like a skin over the excess squared edges for now, but something more in the future.

hey, I resemble that remark. I'm both old, and worn out. And I can tell you for sure, I'm not as strong as I used to be.

I don't think anybody said it was hard to do, it's just easier on the KK. It does take a little muscle to get a heavy tire with steel rim up on the rear door, then you have to hold it up there with one hand while you get a couple of lug nuts on it.

The original argument here was that it looks to be a royal pain to get it on/off the KK vs the KJ. That's just not true, the KK is a lot easier.

I still can not see where it is easier, heck I pull mine off the back just to wash good in behind it, and I wash mine two times a week, plus I have a Moab and 245-7516 Goodyear MTR so its not a lightweight original junk wheel and tire. If you can't lift it then maybe you are too weak to even drive!   And before we get into age I am over 50 so that doesn't cut it either. Underneath is just a BAD location period, wait till they get 80,000 / 100,000 miles on them and then see how well it works, all rusty .....

Ok every one... Every one is entitled to their own opinion... It seems kind of point less to fight about a stupid thing like this, either you like it or you don't.....And in the end, jeep is the one who placed it there and it will be left to the after market to relocate the tire for every one who wants to change its location

Tommmud, wait til you're over 60 and see if you still think that big ole Goodyear tire is still easy to lift up there onto the back door.

I do, same day a rock broke my windshield, and I found a scratch in the hood. Sounds like bad karma. So, I stopped washing it. lol.
