No, there is NOT an official retrofit kit for the cabin air filtration system.

Might have to do that retrofit, it looks awesome

Just wondering, if my hvac system does not have an air filter, how do I get that nasty smell to go away when my heat is on? I noticed it doesn't smell with the feet or defrost, just the personal dash vents.

Is the filter built in to that housing that gets swapped out during the retrofit?

The cabin air filter retrofit is really worth it! I did mine a while back and am so glad I did. MtnLuvr's directions are spot-on. I don't know if it will fix your heat smell issue, but it will cut down on dust by a lot.

The air filter goes into the new housing that you'll be installing, which fits on top of the blower motor. So, all the incoming air goes through the filter, regardless of what setting the cabin vents are on.
