My first set of arms were like that. That is why I bought the Terra flex front bump stops. Marlin has already sent me the new set and I installed them 2 weeks ago

i'd buy parts from JBA even if they were $50 more than somewhere else just because of his impeccable costumer service... hard to come by these days

I was having the same issues. JBA has since sent me the new A-arms. Gen 5.5. They work great. 2.5" lift and they hit the factory bump stops, before the top of the pocket. Check out the How-to in the Tech section. I have updated it with a couple of new pics. (Once again, many thanks to Digger for uploading it again, for me.) I did have to shave the lower part of the pocket, a little less than 1/4", so they would extend to full down, without hitting. But there was room to do that.

Here are a couple of shots at riding height.
Old A-arms. Notice how high in the pocket they are.

New A-arms are more centered.

And a look at the pockets with the new ones & shaved bottom of pocket.

With a new product there are bound to be hiccups in the design.
Marlin made it right. Good customer service has gotten a lifetime recommendation for JBA products, from me. I am one very happy camper. :D

I agree, I've been very pleased with Marlin's/JBA's service to date. He was even willing to be accessible via cell phone the weekends I installed my lift. I did call him with a question and he promptly returned the call and answered my question.

It seem the issues is fixed and I would hate for this guy to loose any sales do to this issues.

Lets be glad he fixed it fast.....
