i just bought tools and a $80 torque wrench. so a total of $113.00 worth of tools. but whoever is coming bring your tools anyway please.

Put my lift in from 8pm on friday night to 4am sat morning :]
The tools

The before

had to take the battery tray an battery out to get to the bolts for the strut tower

compressing the spring to take out the old strut

new strut in

Now the back of the lift from 5-8pm saturday night

Keep in mind during the front of the lift we ran into several complications and it slowed us down a lot, hense all the time it took us....

The back all naked

All done... final product :] ->

I love how i was sooo close to hitting that roof

work woulda gone faster with Coors or Mountain dew

Those pretzel M&M's are dangerous. Mars, Inc. sent my girlfriend and I two matchbox Nascar toys thanking us for our support for buying so many of those. :shock:

She is now doing weight watchers. :oops:

Quick question. Where did you get your struts. I want to change mine out when I put in the lift (also going with RK). My jeep has 50,000+ on it and the ride ain't so smooth...even for a jeep.

im not addicted but they are really good. My uncle created Pretzel Crisps so i get them for free, so those are enough pretzels for me lol i dont need the pretzel M&M's at all but they are a lil something different...

I got my struts from JBA, and i love them. i have 36k on my truck and mine were shot lol

that was my friends Xterra. he was putting on his diff cover and melting his front wells to fit his 33's

rear shocks were 85 lbs-ft for lower bolt and nut and 80 lbs-ft for the upper rear shock mount, the front RK forks were i think 100 lbs-ft... and idk the knuckle sorry i dont remember :[ :banghead:
