My '11 sport has one, without a sunroof...... I mainly use it for wondering why it's there!

I put my parking pass for the garage at work there. The only use I could possibly think of...and it works great ;)

I just stare at it and wonder what I'm going to use it for :D

That and the little cubby area on the driver side of the center console (down by your leg). Have yet to find any use for that either.

As I was vacuming my Lib from being on the beach this weekend, I was wondering what the strap was for?

My guess:
1. to hold your pistol or Knife lol
2. Probably to hold maps and passes paperwork stuff
3. Small - Medium Flashlight
4. Small radio or power inverter

funny you mention that, I have a keltech P38 (one of several, but a heck of a CCDW pistol even if its only .380) and it fits PERFECTLY in that little area to the left of the steering wheel where you'd imagine the fuses would be. :grim:

LOL, I am only kidding. I have friends in Law Enforcement and are also gun collectors as a hobby. They let me shoot a few of their guns. The HK USP 40 Cal was a very smooth pistol to shoot, as well the Berretta 92F, I didn't like the Glock so much. However the S&W 44 Mangum revolver was real fun but I wasn't very accurate with it lol.

Anyways not to go off topic, I think the strap was for maps. However, I wish a 400 watt converter DC/AC was in my Jeep instead of the strap.

We all got hosed for the 2010 Model Year. I don't think any Liberty has it.

But who cares, I already had one. One of these days I'm going to hardwire and mount the thing. But... where? I haven't decided a permanent location for it. :(

Here's an idea for you viewtopic.php?f=104&t=48524&hilit=Inverter&start=20
He just replaced the stock inverter with a 400W one. He changed the plug to a double one as well. Write ups on the second page, pics on the first.
