Custom-wiring the heated mirrors sounds like a fun and challenging project, actually. I think the rear defrost switch would be the perfect way to turn the heated mirrors on. :rockon:

Yeah it is def something I would try if I didnt already have them. The extra pins on the heated mirrors are just going to be + and - leads that you could easily just run new wire to the rear defroster switch or your own switch if you want sole control of them. Easy peesy.

I've never had a vehicle with heated mirrors. How do you like them, isomswim? Are they worth the extra expense?

Well it will def be nice if the winter is as bad as it was last year, mild one this year as you know. I just go the jeep so no need for them yet. Kinda used them the other day when everything waas fogged up
