Yep

Playing devil's advocate here...sucking seafoam in the intake isn't the only method for seafoaming an engine. It's actually not even the preferred method lol. You can put it in the oil and gas too. Obviously if you put it in the oil, you're supposed to do an oil change pretty soon after driving it a bit.

And putting it the gas tank only cleans the tops of the intake valves,poorly cleans but cleans somewhat.

Truth. I loved sucking that stuff thru the brake booster hose on my 99 Civic with 248k miles. Could have sworn Cheech and Chong were in my driveway lol. :ROTFL:

All that smoke was from burning the chemicals in the seafoam,not actually cleaning anything inside the intake.To properly clean the intake you must tap into a vacuum port as close the the TB as possible and introduce the cleaning chemical in a mist.12oz-16oz over a 30-45min time span with the engine running between 1000-1200rpm.

Maybe not the intake, but the valves and top of the piston. What's the compression on these motors?
