You know you drive a KK when:

You're driving to or from the dealership service center.

You're driving your other car while the KK is at the dealership service center.

You get all your repairs for free on the Lifetime Warranty, but buying gas to repeatedly drive it for repair still empties your wallet.

You can turn on your rear wiper, but it decides when to shut itself off.

Your 4X4 is in great shape, but the switch is broken again.

Your clutch lasts 125,000 miles, or 600 tanks of gas.

You're looking for a flat spot to park, so as not to tempt the e-brake.

Your ESP control has two settings, ON and ON.

You're saving up to replace your burned out third brake light.

And before you ask, why yes! My jeep IS in the shop right now!

When you've accepted you're trying to drive a brick through the wind every time you get up to highway speeds.

Your dealer voids your power train warranty because they don't understand how IFS works

When no other Jeep driver waves back. Drivers of the older Jeeps sneer at you for being less capable, even the KJ drivers. Drivers of the newer Jeeps turn their nose skyward or are just plain clueless.

Ehhh gotta be the right driver. Got a friendly wave back from an amazing looking lifted TJ with a light bar with a tow strapped wrapped around it today as I crossed paths with him when the light turned green.

You know you drive a KK when you wish your 2008 was a newer KK just for the upgraded interior color.

I don't even bother waiving. Everyone and their mother around here has a tj or jk that looks like quadratech was its mother. A lot of the kk's around here I think are rentals with a tourist behind the wheel and they aren't sure what they are driving or don't recognize my vehicle as the same as theirs. I did see my first lifted kj today though at the post office parking lot. We gave a nod and a smile and were on our way. I did have a 35lb front recovery system in my hands though and it looks like some kind of weapon so I may have looked a tad creepy to her.

Must be nice to have a vehicle that they actually make aftermarket parts for.

I rolled up on another black KK at a red light. He had his windows down as did I so I said nice Jeep. We chatted till the light turned green. He said he liked my blackout and Sky Slider .

When your friends ask you: "So when are you buying a REAL Jeep?" (likely to be repeated by some when you then go buy a JKU)

When you see another one you look at it meticulously for mods and the beauty of it.

They had it up on a lift and kept pointing at the CV angle saying look at those tires, they're rated for a truck, it's lifted and the angle of the CV's is too much. They tried to tell me that was the problem with the vibration I was having. Lift ANY ifs vehicle and you'll see the same thing, CV's all the way down, it isn't driven like that. Duh. Two local dealers refused to look at it. Bunch of grease monkeys anyway. If they didn't have their starscan they'd be worthless.

A dealer can not void a warranty.

I was informed by Mopar that they can't make them work on it. Two different dealers told me the same thing. They said that if I can find a dealer that'll work on it that they'd cover it IF it was a warranty issue. That's where it was left so while the dealer technically can't void the warranty, they also don't have to honor it either.
