So it's 8.5" from top of wheel well to the lowest part of the Mopar hitch sides. This will give enough room to lay Viair's tank sideways across the deepest section as close to the receiver as possible. It'll have to be sideways to allow the safety valve from being able to do it's job (otherwise it'll hit the top of the unibody). For the compressor it can go sideways as well but mounted on the driver's side of the hitch side. I also plan on mounting the quick connect on top teh bumper on the driver's side centered with the taillight. Is the a plug that can go in there to prevent debris and dirt from getting there? Like an plastic connector to stop children from sticking their fingers in electrical sockets but for this?...

If it's a compressor fitting you're talking about sticking out. Just put a tire adapter on the end to seal it off

I'm going to just keep a second spare under there. With my tire luck it'd be good to have. If one pops then you can still wheel. :JEEPIN:

This is not a bad idea...just keep it as the back up to the back up haha. But with 265/75s you'll have to air down the tire to fit the 32" tire in the 31" space. Still leaving the need for atleast an air tank...I think I'll still keep going with the on-board air idea haha.
