Added wheel spacers to the libby. Thought it would take an hour :ROTFL: Ended up taking about 3-4 hours. Had to remover plastic inner finder and then the grinding began. Thanks to my friend and a wide selection of tools it was farely easy and didnt take longer then it did. New wheels, tires and JBA 4" lift coming soon.

SO I have been waiting to get the mods done before posting on this thread. Thanks to all your guys' feedback and advise on here! You really helped me make some decisions! Also, This was built by SRH Enterprises in Hudsonville, MI. Finally here is the reveal: Enjoy!

Mine is on the left, stock is on the right. 3 inch Rocky Road lift, OME springs up front. Mopar guard with PIAA lights (sorry, had to copy Mtnluvr, yours looked too good man! you still got me on those head light covers though!)

8) Looks great Driven1. I love side by side shots of modded KKs versus OEM KKs as the impact of the mods is so blatant.

Don't worry about using ideas you find publicly posted in an enthusiast community as that's part of what the community is about -- sharing knowledge.

Before you do much off-roading, you'd better remove that black plastic strip along the bottom of the front bumper. That will also visually make the front of your KK next to an OEM look higher as in a shot like the above, you'll see more tire reveal (and you'll have a little more clearance).

Mtnluvr and Driven, do you both have the tow hooks mounted along with the bumper gaurd? I thought the gaurd was something the hooks couldn't be used with? How'd you do it?

Yep, as you can see in the photo below from the day I picked up my KK (way back on 02/27/09):

I think you're thinking of the Steelcraft brush guard which mounts to the same mounting as the tow hooks so you can only have one or the other. With Jeep's bumper grille guard, it mounts to the bumper and does not interfere with Jeep's tow hooks.

well its a good idea but where i wheel you cant go out at night anyway. the fog lights i had on my front bumper where never used. :| plus my roof grabs plenty of branches already on some of the trails down here without it being any taller and itll only get worse with a rack and lights, not to speak of loss mpg's. i guess i should just save for the cost of labor to regear. i already have the parts required.

Yea might run them for a little longer. Depends on if I feel like buying tires, been researching for now. They have been called for by a couple different people already though.

Picked up the rims first thing this morning. Plan on ordering duratracs after I talk to a couple people first. Did a little research and should be saving 12-15lbs on each corner with this setup compaired to the 16x8 soft 8s and firestone destination a/ts.
