Almost forgot the best part. The guy I picked em up from had an XJ. He said he hates Libertys but loved mine and the fact that ill actually take on the trail as opposed to the soccer moms driving JK Unlimiteds. 8)

fixed my HID passenger side fog today... also swapped out the stock bulbs in my hella 50n black magics to a 2500k(yellow) bulb.

In the works i have some ideas for a light bar with the sky slider... i have two options. one would allow use with the skyslider still, the other could be attachced and detached to the factory side rails which elminates skyslider use with the mount attached. i really wanna try and get it to be the first option as that would be the one i believe is most visually appealing also as well as for mpgs etc...

Took it to go look at the new '11 GC that just showed up at the local Jeep dealer.

Everything I saw on it/in it/about it, made me think the same sentence over and over: "It might be time to grow up and get something like this." I was just awe-struck. AND they're bringing green back!

So if this new career field works out, I will absolutely be trying to afford one of these. But I'm not holding my breath. For 30-40k, that's a big one. :juggle:

Put the winch to use. Got stuck in swamp muck up to the rock rails and my buddies 30lbs samuri didn't move me lol. Naturally we forgot to charge the camera from it being dead last weekend. Pics to come of the new wheels and tires though.

Gascap warning came on today and I reinstalled it tighter, I thought, but idk how to reset the warning or if it should go away itself. :?

Its pouring rain here and the Duratracs are doing great. I took a look at the Jeep and I think it needs to cranked up a little more. Front right is toed out a bit hopefully it'll straighten up some but I'm gonna need another alignment.

after further investigation it appears all you have to do is tighten the cap and push the odometer reset button and it should go away. took a couple tries and gave it a while but all is well.

cranked the front end up again to match the rear in height after it sagged from initial install and addition of winch. alignment looks way better, still have someone look to make sure its in spec i suppose. trimmed some plastic off the front bumper to stop the new tires from rubbing.

removed the worthless spare tire

might check and see if a 265/75/16 will fit up there if im not to lazy this weekend. if it doesnt work i think i found a good place for my air tank instead of wasting room inside. then comes figuring out where to put the spare.... may as well get a roof rack made.

Took the KK for a 1300 mile trip to VA Beach and back. MPG ranged from 17.5 to 20.9. The Bilstiens offered a really nice ride. About half way there, I added a Cobra 18 wxst and a Little Wil antenea. Nice radio. Just barely fits on passenger side of transmission hump. Something smaller would fit better but it was all the shop had at the time. Saw a lot of neat things. Tried to find a "friend" to keep the KK company while we were out and about. Here's a shot of one of those "friends" while at the beach. I liked the green of the KJ next to the Red of my KK. Kinda Christmasie. Now for some serious bug cleaning from the windshield and bumper! :-)r
