Tinted the turn signals. I think I may have sprayed them a little too dark tho so they might be hard to see in the daylight  I'll wait until they dry and see how they look. Hopefully they are at least visable enough so a cop won't pull me over for turning without signaling

The stuff didn't look too dark when I first sprayed it on, but within a few minutes it pretty much blocked out the whole housing. I think it looks awesome, I just don't wanna ruin the functionality of the turn signals.. I'll have to just wait and see!

detroit you broke the first rule on the can that has to do with spraying... do light coats... that way you always get the desired effect and you have zero running etc.... and let each coat dry

Yeah I did what I thought was a light first coat, it just ended up coming out a little stronger than I expected. I didn't even go back and hit it again, after it dried up I tested it out and they look a bit dark in the bright Florida sun, but after 5PM they still shine through. Overall I'm pretty happy with the result. I just know I'm gonna hit the tail lights from much farther away and try to keep the tinting to a minimum. Aside from the warping/melting issue, I don't want them to be completely black, just more of a smoked look.

Had tires rotated today got 40,000 miles on them and still have almost 3/4 of tread left. They said I had 60% of my brake pads left - which is great considering they have 68,000 miles on them. Of coarse 90% of my driving is\ Highway. :D

First time in a long time I wasn't working 80 hours this week. So I had a jeep night. A bit of a 30K mile service.

Changed Oil
Changed the Front and Rear Diff's - Front was fairly dark, Rear was brown but everything inside still looks brand new.
Rotated Tires
Checked and regreased Al's A-Arms
Cleaned the K&N intake filter

Felt good to do something productive again instead of sit in front a computer all day long!

so i ordered Napa adaptive pads and premium rotors all around for my jeep a few weeks ago. got all but the front rotors because theyre backorder everywhere and they dont know when theyre ever gonna come in. i ended up finally getting a refund. question is what do i get for good rotors now? has anybody have any experience with EBC, Stop Tech or Power Slots? these "performace" brands make rotors for the nitro but i havent found any reviews on them.

EBC & Stoptech no problems - I dont know about the other - I put a set of EBC on my Mini Cooper - they worked just fine

So i tapped into my bumper funds a lil bit today... brought home a 91' 2door XJ from Atlanta this morning  500$ cash id say was a steal and a half for 190K miles, perfect body(no dents), great motor and componants, great axles, and i was actually able to drive it about 50 miles at 65mph on the hwy back home! Its more than likely gonna be my garage decor until i get to a good stopping point on the KK (roof rails/basket fix, steel bumpers, and skid plates). Plus, first things first, i gotta clean the XJ up inside and out, fix a couple of leaks and some other small mantenance stuff before i start building it up.

Ill try to post a few pics of it later. Im sure most of you could care less about an old 2door cherokee, but im right proud of her considering what i got and how much it cost me 8)

It was nice out today so I decided to mess around with the renegade. I realized that the dealership plate frames make it look so stupid, so I took those off.
And then I remembered how much Ive been wanting to take off the air dam. It looks soo much better and it was totally free!
And then I vacuumed it out. Im okay with a dirty exterior, but I like to keep the inside kind clean.

Future mods:
hella lights mounted on the bumper. (500 black magics?) I need to find one of those wrangler hood mounts.
L.O.S.T 3rd brake light. (anyone know how I can get one?)
Metal brake light covers.
Maybe some proformance mods. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ :grim:

Oh yea, and I went to the dealership for an oil change, water pump check, and to replace my e-brake cover.
They told me I have to come back again during the week for the e-brake because there was some controversy over some warranty crap... IVE ONLY HAD IT FOR 4 MONTHS!!!! 3000 MILES!!! Give me a break. I even bought it with it broken and theyre being a pain.

needed to inspect inner axle/cv joint so i removed the front diff to save on labor for next weekends gear installment since it was already halfway torn apart

broke a wheel speed sensor in the pass side hub, might have already been broke and was why my esp bas light was intermittently coming on, lets hope. luckily had a spare hub and sensor because i had initially thought it was going bad but ended up being the pass cv and inner axle joint. :(

changed rear brakes, still waiting on refund for the front rotors so i can order some new ones :?

changed t case fluid :?:

drove it without the front swaybar connected. not advised

helped buddy do front brakes on accord

helped other buddy t case drop and straighten the steering wheel on his freshly lifted tj

might not have all been in that order but did all this and probably more in about 5 hrs 45 min :D
