New sticker: (Visited them in person. They are first class in my book)

New sliders:

New hitch mounted step modified with 3/4" board. Makes a nice tailgating table and easier access for kids and dog to hop in/out of jeep.

On way home from picking up sliders I stopped at auto/military vehicle museum outside of Ft. Wayne, IN. Way cool (and VERY extensive) collection of military vehicles circa WWII on one side and assorted custom (Carl Casper), vintage, racing, and horse drawn vehicles on other side of museum. Outside is dirt play area for sponsored 4x4 events. My two favorite vehicles were an armored jeep and the General Lee with Duke's cast member signitures on trunk lid. This would make for a fun M&G location.

Also discovered Ohio has a wind farm almost in my back yard!

Over all trip mpg was 19.89 to and from Kalamazoo. Windows up, air and cruise on, RPM kept at or below 2K while cruising. Thanks again JCR. You guys rock! :pepper:

That's cool das4x4. But remember who's Jeep they were on first.

(I actually think I should have bought those instead of the ones I have, but they came in handy today. Quick comment: THEY WORK GREAT.

Felt like messing with the jeep so I removed the insulation under the hood.

NICE breakover shot Marlon! I guess the sliders came in handy on that one, huh? Remember, its not who had them first, but rather who has them now :ROTFL: I really like the looks of the up-turned stage 3 sliders best, but I was looking for the multipurpose nature of also being able to use them as a step for the kids to climb in and myself when messing with the kayaks up top. Also, its a convenient place to tie the dog off (while parked of course). I"m not used to them sticking out so far yet and keep banging my leg when exiting the KK. I'll adjust.

Missing my Jeeps lately.

I might be slightly demodding the KK when I get back and building up the XJ. I really want to get started on tuning up and fixing any issues with the XJ so I can start a build thread. Only 16 more weeks. :5SHOTS:

Drove down to KY and camped out at the Red River Gorge this weekend

Just spent the last hour and a half vacuuming dirt and mud, and I've still got to take a wet rag to the rest that wouldnt come off.

Anyone have recommendations for cleaning the ceiling?

Had a hell of a time tho, and it was my first time really putting the 4x4 to use :JEEPIN:

I use http://www.turtlewaxcarwash.com/main.taf?p=2,1,1,7 and love it works on any surface in the jeep also I have used in the house for stains on carpet or upholstery. But that only helps on spot stains I don't know the damage that is on the ceiling :P

i was scoping that stuff out the other day at the store, but I wasn't sure it would be ok for my windows

the guy who tinted my windows made it pretty clear that i should not clean the windows with anything that has ammonia in it, but none of the glass care products i've seen say whether or not they contain ammonia

Finally had some decent weather and could get away from sand bagging to install a trailer hitch and wiring harness.

Daystar spacer lift finally killed the struts and springs. Installed new Monroe struts and springs up front as the spacer lift sagged out the stock front springs. Swapped in the Rock Krawler lift up front. Have 2" spacers in the back and 2 iso pads in the back as well. Jeep measures 35-1/8" to the top of the wheel wells in the back and 35-3/8"s up front to the top of the wheel well. I gained 1-1/4"s up front with the new strut, springs and lift over the worn out springs and Daystar lift. Jeep rides 100% better with the cheap strut spacers removed. Wifes very happy with the new lift and struts. Happy wife, happy life. Lol

How long did you run the daystar and how long till you noticed any sagging?

Definitely stay away from amonia products. It'll turn your tinted windows purple for sure. I have a generic spray bottle I fill 3/4 with water and a couple drops of mild dish detergent. I use that on my windows with aftermarket tint. Spray/mist and then clean with a soft micro fiber towel. I've used that combo for years and never had a problem. Maybe call your window tint people back and ask about the spray bottle/detergent solution to see what they say. Just for your own peace of mind of course....and mine too :-)r

Daystar lift started sagging after a few months. Jeep rode like crap since the Daystar was in but I don't drive it so it didn't bother me. Lol. Struts started leaking and clunking after 10,000kms. Lots of KJ guys hate Rock Krawlet but it's a way better lift over junk front strut spacer kits.
