My old Patriot was dark green and it was the best looking color.

When I bought my KK they had a green renegade for sale. They said it was more than I wanted to spend at the time. Later on it was for sale for 19k... I wouldve bought it in a heartbeat at 19k.

I really think I was destined to get my Jeep in black.
My last car was just primer, and I babied it, so I knew anything I got after that was going to have a mint paint job.
I've always loved to detail cars, and what better color to detail than black.
The brilliant black pearlcoat is amazing when you have it clean.
Are there any sparkles in the blue paint?

When it's warm again (if that ever happens) hit it with the clay bar, wax and polish, and it should refurbish the sparkles pretty well. Can't wait to have mine all shiny again.
You can even see my friend in my bumper taking a picture lol.

I agree, can't wait for warmer weather to detail the Liberty.

I think tomorrow if I'm bored enough since I have the day off I will try to aim my headlights slightly lower and see if I can address the fogging on the passenger side turn signal housing.

Its real easy to do. I didn't do all the masking tape tape and measuring as the fsm called for. I just pulled up to a wall and turned the screws a bit until they lowered a degree or two. I was getting flashed all the time before I did it and I could see better too.

Thanks for the support. I think I have a great spot to aim them.
I have a fully enclosed carport that is white and shows the cutoffs on the headlights extremely well. I haven't been flashed in like 2 months, but I know it's from the lift.
Does the manual/do you recall which way to turn them to make them aim down?
Also good to hear they helped ya see better, makes sense.

Figured out how to aim the headlights.
Broke one of the push rivet things that hold the grille on. Anyone know what they're called?
Now I just have to drive at night to see how well or crappy I did on the adjustment.

Pop rivets I think? They sell them at any auto parts store.

I may have to aim mine down as well. I get flashed all the time and I'm not even lifted.

Thanks. I just prefer to know what they are called so I don't sound like an idiot if I need to ask for help.

Lol hopefully I'm good now. It was easy to do.
What bulbs are you running in the headlights?
Also, if you run your fogs, some people are stupid and think you have your highbeams on since it's in the same housing.

Good morning Lost Jeepers, beautiful day here.

Going to put my new black door handles on and give the KK a bath hopefully.

Good morning to you as well.
Decided to hang out at the local airport for a little bit and enjoy a nice cigar. Always relaxing.
Here are a few photos.

That plane is actually in motion in the picture. He just landed.
Can't wait to see the pictures of the door handles installed, Barrie.

As far as I know, the bulbs are all stock. I can't imagine the previous owner swapped anything out in the 5,000 miles he owned it.

But I run my fogs constantly. The output of the headlights is just so poor that I need the fogs to see something. But I imagined that was the reason - the fogs in the same housing must make it look like high beams at first glance.

There ya go. Since you always run fogs, that must be the reason.
I don't blame people for flashing us when we have our fogs on. It is what it is.
I flash people when I can absolutely tell they have their highbeams on, or if they have really obnoxious HID's. If someone flashes me at night, I flash them right back. After that I proceed with caution in case they were warning me about the police. :jester:

Did you know if you hold the stalk you can briefly have brights and fogs?
