Awesome work man!!!! I have a cpl questions. Where did u fid the 5 branch military badge and can I get the eBay store name for the third brake light cover???? Also where did u find the Crome molding u have on the back ( one that says revenge)???

And as one poster already asked, those chrome locks???? Where where where

Thanks a lot

the 5 branch miliary badge is actually a military challenge coin I grinded the back of and made a badge. The third brake like cover is made by custombrakelights check him out. the chrome molding is the limited edition chrome brow that comes with the jeep, except i removed the JEEP badge from it and added my own vinyl decal. finally those chrome locks are an ebay special I found way back when, wish i could tell you who i bought them from but I can't just look around ebay.

more updates to come soon. Hi-Flow hood louvers, RL Rock sliders, RL roof rails. and soon to be even more!

I took mine apart painted them, then added the halos. The tutorials r pretty good but to tell u how difficult it is deoends on u. If u make sure u prep everything n ur careful the lights will look great if u rush or forgey thing n mess up well the result wont be desireable. Another option, althought more exoensive, is to buy the renegade/jet lights.... from factory that might be expensive but give it sometime and I'm sure they will be turning up on ebay etc.

yes i did use the oracle kit. ummm it's simple to install except for the fact you have to bake open your headlights. but if you intend on painting them it's only a few more steps to mount the lights with some glue or metal twisties and a few holes in the back for the wires

Yeah i was planning on baking them to paint them anyways, so i figured while i've got them open i might as well add some halos. Thanks for the info.

i dig that added 2nd lower tail light bulb.
was that hard to do? does it act as a 'brake' light as well, or just a marker light?
can i get specs/info on that. thanks!

not too hard... just required some wiring. it acts as a brake light just as your other one does.

Nice looking jeep. You did quite a bit of work. Havn't seen many KKs with mods of any kind.
How did you did this?
Custom Addition of Second Bulb In Lower Tail light
and
Installation of 120 LED Reverse Lights
Which lights did you use?

Few Questions if you can please answer...

1- How did you fix the SkySlider noise issue?
2- What kind of tow hook was that and where on the jeep is it located?
3- What kind of tires are on it?
4- Where can I find information on the front off road lights on the front bumper?

I will answer these questions for you but you really should use the search function

skyslider was resolved with using weather stripping ( foam type)

the tow hooks are located in the front of the truck right by the radiator vent hole in the bumper, the ones i have are from a KJ but you can buy the pair and they fit fine

the tires that were on it were Kuhmo SAT 61 if i remember correctly, and they were 255-70-16 which is a 30.1 inch tire and an inch bigger than stock, pretty much the biggest wheel combo you can make without having too many rubbing issues

the offroad lights I have are hella 500 black magics. the light bar they are attached to is actually a modified hood light bar from JK. the part can be purchased from quadratic, i believe there is a how to on the install some where

like i said the search function and google are your friends, just type lost jeeps and what your looking for into google, hasnt failed me yet!

Not to be repetitive, but I searched for info on the sky slider noise and mostly got links about people talking about a wind deflector that technically doesn't exist. Only one person mentioned weather stripping and didn't mention where to put it or photos or anything.

Also I found off road lights just could not find the light bar you spoke about. Is ther a particular one with a link or something? I got the lights yesterday and was suggested to just install them to the bumper but know with my luck at some point it'll rip the bumper. Suggestions?

One last question, is the D-Ring mounted to the front or rear of the truck replacing a tow hook? And is it made for the liberty or custom built like the light bar?

Thanks.

google is your best friend " type lost jeeps" then what ever it is your looking for... so in this case it's the "skyslider fix". I will directly link you this time but now you know the secret, use it wisely
http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=88&t=56847

the light bar i have on the bumper is from a JK. it is not custom. the only custom lightbar ( not yet installed) is one for the roof lights I have.
the light bar can be found here
http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=88&t=56960&hilit=light+bar+JK+hood&start=20

the d-ring is mounted to a reciever which fits into my rear hitch. no replacement of front tow hooks.
if you want to have the front hooks be d-ring instead of hooks search the KJ section you will find the hoe to ( I believe it's 'front recovery stronger than.." is the title)

I finally did some of the upgrades you did, thanks for the help.

Here is the before picture

here is the after
Image

and some photo filter...
Image

I got the Jeep Aux lights mounted to the CJ bar that I modified to fit on the Liberty, I blacked out the headlights like on the Renegade and no leaks as it rained today. I also fixed the sky slider noise(THANK GOD) and it worked pretty well. :pepper:
I have one tow hook on the front, debating what I wanted to do with the other side since when i purchased the passenger hook i didn't know that the kj hooks fit, so i only have one. Anyone have any ideas. And I also want a hook for the back.
I have skid plates on, except Gas Tank cuz jeep didn't send me a particar part and screw, but hopefully that gets straitened out. :furious:

Only things left i want to do are tires… any suggestions and pricings?
and rock rails on the side, i found a website that makes ones that hug the side pretty well i think it was rock Krawler. and then the remaining tow hooks. I found a discounted accessory site that had like 15$ tow hooks. which I may get until i get the Mopar ones or a hitch on the back.
