I've got a pretty bad squeak too, haven't really tried to find it yet. it stopped for a little while after I sprayed some penetrating oil in all of the bushings. :furious:

Tightened up the sway bar end link on the driver side. I was able to tighten it about a full turn. Passenger side was okay.
Test drive soon and will update later.

Put a few miles on her. So far so good! Steering wheel feels a bit more true as well.
Looks like I may have found the issue.

Persistence pays off! Nice job, Gage. Hope that the phantom noise doesn't come back!

I don't want to say I'm 100 percent, but I'm pretty darn certain it's gone.
It was the upper bolt that I was able to tighten.
I never did like the angle that the bolts are. Not sure if mine got sketchy looking after the lift, or if they've always looked a little iffy.

The noise came back this morning.
Might have to look into getting a new caliper.
It's the last thing to make any sense. The noise always goes away if I apply the brakes.
Can upper control arms make any high pitch screeching like I'm hearing?

That sounds like brakes. Look into Powerstop one click brake kits. I have a set on the front and a set foot the rear ready to go on. They're awesome. Drilled and slotted rotors, special pads and new clips with little bits for the caliper screws. They aren't cheap but you'll get what you pay for. Summit racing sells them and has the fronts in stock.

I already replaced the rotors and pads, Ted.
Same noise before and after.

Had front bearings replaced at about 42K by dealership.
Sometimes the noise is there, sometimes it's not. Always goes away when brakes applied.
It seriously sounds just like a coin is stuck in my wheel. Very high pitch.
"Tink tink. Tink tink. Tink tink." It seems to be only at a specific part of the wheel.

Is this my issue? I'm hearing the metallic noise.
I crawled under the Jeep and checked the play on the front driveshaft.
Not positive if that metallic noise is the same one I'm hearing.
Input needed please.

Can you do it with better lighting? I have no idea what you were doing...

If you think it's the front driveshaft pull it out. Start pulling parts one by one until you find it.

Sorry about that.
If it's easy to pull the front driveshaft I'll try that.

Hardest part is pulling the CV head out of the flange. Just pry little by little and she'll pop right out.

I wish something would just break or spit grease so I could find the problem easier.
The most frustrating part is that the sound comes and goes.

I changed the brakes and disks and the front brakes noise problem has been fixed. As I mentioned before at this forum is that the noise coming from dashboard. It's plastic is not quality enough I think.
