Wheeled it yesterday for the first time.. Couldn't make it up a hill and ended up having to turn around and go back... Disapointing but once I get new tires, I'll make another attempt.

Considering mounting 2 KC's on my grille guard and 2 on a-pillar mounts, but I can't seem to find a writeup or any real reference to installation on here after searching.

Also hopefully heading out for a little wheeling tomorrow, it's been a bit rainy here so it may get a little muddy :JEEPIN:

Yep! I'll be down until mid-November for the holiday and then mid-December. Been wheeling a bunch with the local club and learning A LOT about mechanics of the Jeeps and technical driving. Also continuing to impress all of the guys with my KK, they love it and I usually am the first to get passengers when someone wants to just ride along :JEEPIN:

Removed my melted plastic rocker panel piece. It gives the Jeep a better stance. I might look for a shop that could fab up so metal protectors, and then get some rock sliders.

You can kinda see the damage done from the pipe bouncing against the underside, causing the plastic to become melted.

Was it easy to take those off? Been debating doing that for a while now.

Can you give us a pic of the inside of the door sill? I've been curious to see what that part looks like without the plastic.

There are 2 push pins in the rear and 3 in the front. I cut the extra plastic from teh fender liners also so it didnt look funny for now. Ive only done the passenger side, so i will take 'How-To' pics when I do the driver side. I'll try tomorrow. I would say it pretty easy because I just ripped them off, but if you want to save all the pins then you have to go slow without breaking them.

Thanks. I have ripped a few from the passenger side by accident. They seem like fragile clips. It looks good without the plastic there, but not if the doors are going to get more dirty and become more vulnerable to damage. :juggle:
Looks more like an XJ with them off.

Ismoswim, are you going to move the exhaust pipe. It looks easy to damage there and burn you getting in back door

4 new tires at 245-70-16 Cooper Discoverers. Had a misfire on cylinder 3 and changed all 6 plugs. Seems to run okay now.

Discoverer STT? If so, let me know their road manners and what you think about them

today I replaced the driver side windshield washer nozzle.

Was a bit of a pain in the butt, but not too bad, took 5-10 mins. too awhile to get the plastic hood liner clips without breaking them. then to get the old nozzle out "its very brittle", just twisted it and it came.

Of course there was some small piece left in the line so I had to flush that. I still cant believe how brittle it was, literally falling part in my hand haha, crazy.

so now I can see again! :-)r

Got some pics of the sill area as requested. The door till seals just fine and seems to be no leaking. I plan to probably just chop the exhaust off on the smashed portion

I don't know where your exhaust is smashed that you plan to cut. You do not want your exhaust "trapped" under vehicle it could be dangerous.

It looks "smashed right before it bends to exit.
Maybe cut it and get a "turn down"?
Is it custom or did you order this exhaust?

I had a shop chop off the stock and throw a super 44. I had a turn down in my FJ that reverberated pretty bad in the cab but it was nice and loud. The muffler is still out of the way enough to do a turn down.
