I grew up in Northfield also and went to Norwich University back in the 90's. It's a gorgeous area.

Very cool...I grew up on the campus of Norwich for the most part. My Dad retired there as well. I moved down to North Carolina in '99, love it down here. I've only made it back up to Vermont about 6-7 times since.

I also forgot to post this, I added it to the back of the KK a little less than a month ago...

I have friends with oil burners but have taking it to Walmart and auto parts store's. But engine oil and diffs only. Who takes coolant ?
Costs?

Some parts stores like O'Reillys and some garages will dispose of it, there's a local garage down here that has a recycling program so they're happy to take it. Otherwise a lot of cities have household hazardous waste disposal locations that will take it (some places charge a fee).

O'Reillys said no to anti freeze, but that was when they first opened. Maybe they do now.

Some do and some don't. Same way with auto zone. For the hazardous waste disposal locations try searching on this link: http://search.earth911.com/?what=Antifreeze

A good friend of mine runs his own garage and I take all my used oil to him. He in turn sells it a recycling company.

Yes Ma'am, has to be in separate containers though. And labeled as coolant.

Your lucky then!
Years ago a vendor at my work, told me old anti freeze had value. He took what I had at that time. It's also the last time I did my own coolant. Just to risky - spill some an pollute, well, or lose a pet.

I agree, very lucky. One of the advantages of small town rural Kentucky living.

Sent out a ton of emails to some vendors across the pond and in the land down under to see if I can acquire a set of those fabled Cherokee moldings to replace my Liberty ones.

I hit something metal last night on my way back into Philly. At first I thought it was a muffler, but now I think maybe it may have been a heat shield that fell off of someone's car. It went CRUNCH under the passenger's front tire, WHACK under the rock rail, and CRUNCH under the passenger's rear tire. In the rear view, it seemed to be about the size of 4 family sized Campbell's tomato soup cans, stacked side to side, and flattened. I checked this morning and there is no damage to speak of. Duratracs seem fine, maybe lost a bit of paint on my Super Skinks. They're due for some Rustoleum in the summer anyway. Thank goodness for skid plates and rock rails! :JEEPIN:

Glad that had a happy ending.
Check your spare, too.

I'm due for an inspection on Wednesday. It will be my first one since lifting last spring. Has anyone ever had issues getting their Jeep inspected on account of having lifted it?

In Jersey we only have to pass emissions. You could have a cracked windshield and 4 flat tires and still pass.
I think you'll be fine. Yours doesn't scream "I'M LIFTED" with 34567890 lights and all.
Do they check certain things with lifted vehicles?
