I got the new heater core from a dealer for 95 bucks,

Whoa...

Looks pretty neat in there atleast...I can't stand loose wires and stuff just floating, there's a step called cable management and thank you Toledo for following those steps haha.

Does anyone know if a push button switch for your off road lights could potentially drain your battery? I purchased a set of 3" cube lights for my KK and I connected the harness directly to the battery so even when the truck is OFF, the light stays on (red) When the lights are ON, the light goes green. I'm just worried that having the red light on 24/7 will eventually drain my battery especially when it comes to winter time (Canadian winters)

Here's a pic of the switch/light when my truck is off.

yeah it is a pita but i cant see paying someone up to 1000 bucks or more for a 95 dollar part. the cleaning of the antifreeze was the hardest part.

The whole dash and air box did not need to come out completely but since i was in there i wanted to clean up all the fluid on all of the carpets and fire wall mat.

the speaker ( tweeters) can come out by taking the top of the dash board off. There is 1 screw on each side of the speaker covers. you will also need to remove the grab handle from the pass. side ( two screws under the handle base. now remove the dash bezel and you can access the tweeters.

I have a switch that stays illuminated even when the lights are off and I haven't had an issue with the battery. But the longest I've let it sit is 2.5 days or so.

Yeah there's no way I can not drive my KK for that long haha. I actually work 6 days a week so it rarely sits. Maybe just come winter time i will unplug it every time I shut it off since quick disconnects came with the harness and I put those under my steering wheel for easy access. Thanks!

If you are worried about that lighted switch, peace of mind is less than $5 at your nearest auto parts store. You could just swap it to a non-lighted switch, or one that only lights up when on.

Well the thing is I went to all stores and they don't have any switches that are just applied with a piece of 3M two-sided tape. I don't really want to drill a hole in my dash in case I ever take out my pod lights. Not really finding anything on eBay either.

Also, I think being wired directly to the battery will cause the light to always be on, no matter what switch (with a light). Correct?

I wired my lights up to the accessory relay in the fuse box. That way, unless the car is on accessory, or actually on, the switch has no power. It would be pretty easy to move the wire to that relay.

I have my lights wired directly to the battery and to a lighted switch. However, the light is only on when the lights are on. I just have to make sure i don't leave them on over night cause my battery will for sure be dead. No problems yet

Filled up for 19.2 mpg (30 percent highway, the rest city).
Also bought a can of throttle body cleaner. Seems like most stores don't carry the aerosol version anymore. I went to a few stores and finally found it at the local Napa.

Im have to order longer rear shocks (2.5inch lift). I wanna make sure I have the right part number for the Bilstein's 24-185660. Can anyone confirm that for me?

Not really, you can go to Lowe's and get some 1/2" washers to space out the gap for the upper shock mount. Depending on the thickness of washers you'll need about 2-4 per side.
