Swapped trunk anchors for a kit at Tractor Supply. Finally can fit ratchet straps to the floor haha.

I'd like to do that too. Did you used the same holes the plastic brackets were fastened to?

Does anyone know where our Horn is located? I went wheeling today to an old railway tunnel and after I got back my horn/beep when locking has died down quite a bit. Any ideas on what happened?

I was thinking that, but I'd first have to find out where the horn is located.. I couldn't find it online anywhere. But then I thought back a little and there wasn't really any mud. Just mostly huge puddles and it was gravel (old railway track)

Maybe it shorted out or something and just needs a warm day to dry out. Could set the panic off and try to zero it in while you annoy yourself and anyone around you if youre really desperate haha. I couldn't tell you where to even start looking. Best of luck! Let us kno where you find it!

The two horns are located near the left side headlight.
The horn fuses are located in the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM). M23 & M22
My guess would be a popped fuse and only one horn is now working.

Haha, happens to me all the time after mudding/waterfording. It was really bad in winter when the water froze haha. It just needs to air out basically, after a few days it'll be back to the way it was. The horn is in between the grille/headlight and the battery, leaving it easy to get wet.

Yes, I bought these on a whim at Tractor Supply and the fit PERFECTLY into the holes left after drilling out the rivets set in place for the stock anchors. I used a 1/4" drill bit to get rid of the locking center and channel lock plier to remove the rest of the excess. Then using a 1/2" drill bit, drilled out the holes so a 1/8" toggle bolt will fit. Very proud of this lil mod haha.

Welcome back to the club  :pepper: Btw when you lift, make sure your camber is good before running them. I sat to high and had a slight positive camber that wore the edges down. It's good now that the lift settled, but that week killed them and I can't get the square edge back.

I do too. It's a lot more fun to look at now. I was slightly depressed when I took them off and looked at it. Even my girlfriend is happier with it.

Thanks! Goodbye gas mileage.

Thanks for the heads up. I had thought about that. I really don't want these to wear unevenly. My buddy lifted his Tundra and had it aligned but they screwed it up. His tires went very bald very quickly.

Yep, that's the problem I'm getting. The inside edge is perfect, but the outside is starting to go. I'm rotating tires every 3k or so to try and prolong it...I mean worse case scenario....32s get put on lol

Thanks for giving me the quick how to NAM! I managed to get that taken care of today. I've been looking for a way to get good tie down points in the back with no luck. I love the way these replace the plastic crappy ones. Thanks again!

Of course. I'm dreading the day. Mostly because it'll cost a pretty penny. I'll have to regear which means truetracs or arb air locker. But it'll be oh so sweet when done

My pleasure Tex. They really do fit PERFECTLY right? It was a 10min $10 job to do too!
