Yup. Won't be using this on the road if anyone is around. I wanted to showcase the item off here with you guys. These products from strobesnmore.com are awesome and I have been buying my LEDS and career related items from Luis since 2004. Never had his product fail with proper installation. There are other LED bars avail. I recommend you guys check them out. Everything ships from RI.

Edit: Forgot to mention some cool specs. This bar is split up as flood and spot. I believe the center 4 are spot and the others are flood.

And... Well as you can see I had fun this weekend... So I also installed some strobes in the rear lights on the KK.. Also had to relocate the jack to the rear seat.

What was your milage before the new gears? And would you have rather went with the 4.10's to try and save some gas? (If it would have mattered)

With the same driving that I do, I was getting about 13.5-14mpg. And 4.10s would not have cut it to run these. Even an 4.56s I don't feel as peppy as what I expected.

That's kind of a let down. I'm saving up for gears, but you're getting worse gas mileage than I am with my 32"s and stock 3.73s. I get about 13-14 highway. It makes me wonder how the KJs with the same set up are getting 22mpg. I was really hoping for a mpg boost after the regear.

If you are going to stay with 245-75-16s then 4.10s will work great
If you are going to 265-75-16s soon then go ahead and head for the 4.56s

It may be due to my current weather (pretty freakin' cold, getting to negatives overnight) and due to the tire on the roof. Next fill up I'm ttesting mileage without the tire up there.

I'm a big fan of Strobes n More, too. I've purchased all of my lights from Luis over the years and I'm impressed with the line of products he's been coming out with the past few years. The flood light with warning lights is on my list of items to get.

I'm curious what the purpose is of the end caps lighting up on your bar. Any ideas?

Is that lower area of the taillight housing a viable option for hideaways? It looks like there's a reflector in mine. I'd love to put a hideaway in each taillight but was curious about that reflector. My ZJ had a blank space there without the reflector and was a perfect spot.

install looks good! you consider throwing one on the roof as a "high beam" for "off-Road" use? :JEEPIN:

I really think that it's these tires that are causing such poor gas mileage though. These are a ridiculously heavy tire and aggressive for the street as well. My rolling resistance is sooo much more than what it used to be with my AT2s. I slow down as fast as I used to brake now because of the resistance now too haha (fine by me though, saves my brand new brakes). These tires are 66lbs each whereas the MTR Kevlars are 54lbs, General Red Letters were 57lbs, and Cooper ST MAXXs were 54lbs. My old AT2 were only 47lbs too. Also I think the transmission needs to relearn itself to acclimate to the new gearing.

Ha! I'm loving the ridiculous traction in the ice and snow that these tires have too much haha. I can crawl through 6" of snow on top of ice uphill with just a little gas and zero slipping haha. I know it's been said that MTs can never perform up to an AT for snow and ice but these are already a thousand times better than my AT2s haha.

darn!! mine are like slicks in snow and ice. my Goodyear crap-o-wranglers were very good in snow. the only thing that's good with driving with my destination A/Ts is donuts are very successful!

maybe I should air down from 46 psi........ maybe normal pressure they would be good in snow.
