I have no issue with 46 psi... haha. I had a difficult time filling up my tires at that pressure at a gas station. took 3 minutes to get 1 tire up to my highway pressure. which at the time was 42 psi.

That's because you're "highway pressure" is stupid high.

:-)r I feel like every one is attacking my tire pressure... hey, if my tire or tires blow out ill be stuck using the donut and look like a maroon going down the highway... I would get pulled over for that and get a ticket for public display of stupidity... hahaha.

maybe that's why I get Prius good mileage going 75 mph?

the Goodyear Wranglers that my KK came with were inflated to 32 psi when I bought it. I pumped those suckers up to 38 psi and felt like I was going to die. the Destination A/Ts that I have on there just make it a hell of a rough ride when pumped up over 42 psi. I have been dropping the pressure in them for the past 2 weeks. they were 50 psi a few weeks ago. currently are sitting at 44 psi. I may drop them to 40 psi instead of the original plan of 42 psi. 38 psi is to low for them.

EDIT: and luckily I have a great compressor at home that inflates them faster then you can blink.

Well after quite a few years with the KK, I decided to make the jump into a JKU this week. Traded her in for a '15 JKU sport with all the bells and whistles. Definitely going to miss her!

If anyone is interested, I'm going to be tossing my Cherokee side appliques and slush mats up in the for sale section in a bit.

Got a message from a friend saying the FedEx truck got stuck in his driveway...KK to the rescue! Haha

Stupid didn't have any recover points so I had to wrap my cable around his lower control arm and be gentle. Clicked it into 4LOW and let off the brake after tension was on the line and then we crawled him out of there...I love 4LOW...

they still go bump bump bump over bumps. but the bumps aren't as sudden when I go over a bump... :JEEPIN: or as we say here in PA, the foot deep pot holes. theres plenty of those here!

I cant recall me ever riding below 40 psi besides when I got the new tires on that were inflated to 37 psi.

He speaks the truth! I've driven on dirt roads smoother than our roads.

there's 2 pot holes I always try to attempt to avoid on the way to work. those suckers are 2 foot wide by at least 8 inches deep. there's one about 3 foot by 1 foot deep in the middle of our grocery store parking lot.

NYC and Long Island aren't any better, trust me. If you go into the boroughs there will be roads(most roads) that will rattle your teeth out even if you're driving a Cadillac lol

rattling teeth, that's better then us snapping our necks going in one and out. well, my KK does ride harsh, so ill give you that. but our highways at least 422 isn't any better! going 60 on 422 is pretty challenging while avoiding potholes, or should I say sink holes?

High five!
I run mine at 36 psi. Nice and comfy, and with 26K on them now, the tread is still wearing evenly. I have the same size Duratracs as you do (245/75/R16) but in load range C instead of E.

Oh, and 422! :dizzy:
