Drove at night and lit up the road a little more than usual...these lights really need to be aligned, they're all over the place...

Tomorrow I'm going to replace the brake light bulb that went out and the roof light bulb that isn't working.

Installed my ome/iron man lift. Looks and rides amazing. Gonna order jba a-arms and 2 more spring isolators on Monday since my stock joints are destroyed. Might as well take it to to 3.5 inches while I'm at it Also ordered a 20 inch led bar for the bumper. Ill move my kc's to the pillars. Also got flush mount led pods to go in the rear bumper

Replaced my passenger side brake light and the H3 bulb for the roof light that's out. Both are working now. Got my ORTATTW rocker switches, roof lights and rock lights(too be installed this weekend). Got my transmission skid plate in yesterday too, I think I trust it's beefiness...for now...got some grade 8 nuts and bolts from Lowe's for the transmission (plan on drilled holes and just mounting the bolt straight through since I haven't got patience for the nutserts). Transfer case skid should arrived today and so it's going on too! Friday is supposed to be nice weather so I'm going to take the bumper and rock rails off for after winter detailing and respray.

I repositioned my Firestik Antenna mount today. The door jamb mount was bolted to the sheet metal under the top of the right tail light, but vibration was causing the sheet metal to tear. I moved it to bolt to the inside of the tailgate door jamb, which has thicker metal.

The original location of the mount, holes now siliconed closed.

The new location of the mount, sealed with silicone to waterproof it.

Next up is to re-tune he antenna using the SWR meter.

SWR checked.
channel 1: 0 SWR
channel 19: almost no SWR
channel 40: 1.4 or so

All are under 2.0, so it's safe to run my CB radio. Yeah, I could tweak it a little to try and get the high end a little lower, but :juggle:

Washed it at the DIY carwash. My overhead console decided to start leaking on me on the way home and the passenger side a-pillar is wet where the plastic meets the headliner. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I'm hoping that it's just a clogged drain tube...

Image

That's one of my leaks. I gotta hunt down the drain tube pics we have on here. Anyone happen to have them on hand?

Edit: found them...now maybe I'm just blind, but I can't seem to locate the drain tubes on the sky slider. Anyone know where they are?

I've never seen pictures of drain tubes for sky slider equipped KKs.

Same as the sunroofs clogged or the hoes needs some rtv on it where it connects to the frame of the skyslider drain

I'm assuming only the KK's with skysliders and sunroofs have that overhead console? Mine just has the lights, no compartments :(

I'm thinking its clogged. It only happened under high pressure. It didn't lesk during any of these rain storms the past few days... My dad and I are gonna take a look tomorrow. Maybe he'll be able to spot them.

If anyone happens to know where it is on a skyslider feel free to tell lol.

nFodzy, I think only sunroof/skyslider models have that overhead console.

My leak is bad on the passenger a-pillar and that console. It leaked out of 1 of the gaps when driving home and when I got home I noticed a water stain on the front closer to the windshield.

I'm much happier with this one over the $15 one at Adv auto haha. 30amp circuits with 100amps per bus (2 buses) and full size fuses compared to the 20amp per circuit with mini fuses Adv Auto one. This is also much more water resilient thanks to the cover. Also don't have to put a connector on the cable haha-just "j-hook" them and screw them down!

It's my last day off and it turned out to be a beautiful day. Cleaned my KK from top to bottom, but unfortunately found a nail in one of my rear tires :banghead: .

Besides the nail in the tire, today was a good day!

Maintenance is a theme today! I got an oil change (free for the lifetime of my Jeep at the dealer where I bought it) and 5 tire rotation, as well as lubed the lift. I found out my battery was getting to the end of its life, so I replaced that. Also changed out the cabin air filters. :o Jeepy is happy again. :JEEPIN:
