Got my engine skid in today...I feel like these could've been made of a thicker steel but they also don't feel as "soft" (I'm not a metalurgy guy haha) as the steel for my bumper does. Very easy install though. When installing the rivets, just make sure you're flush with the crossmember/unibody (only unibody is the transfer case skid). After that snug the bolts in haha. I definitely feel safer having these now though!

I filled it up today and averaged 16mpg. I've been getting 14.5mpg all winter. Maybe summer blend is starting to roll out? Or maybe just not having sub zero temperatures helps.

Oh trust me... I know, I hate that they aren't. Makes BlacKKat look so strange

My goal is to bake them just once and install red halos when I do. Just time and money in my way

Been busy this last month or 2, finished some stuff up. New 4.7 tb, 3" cai and slots cut out of grill for more air flow, 50" curved led light bar (made brackets based off my buddys cherokee), and have my hypertech arriving today.

You're going to enjoy the way it drives with the Hypertech installed.

Did you do a write up for the mounts by any chance? I'm looking to make them in the near future

Looks sick! I've been wanting to do the rock lights forever... I have a huge roll of white LED strips and I was planning on doing this as well as interior foot lights.

How did you do your wiring for them?

Going to be a busy next couple of days for me!

Girlfriend is out of town for work, so I'm taking the opportunity to install my SOLID diff cover (Applying a couple coats of clear first). I had my friend weld together the ROLA vortex basket for me that way it won't rust (Priming and painting it as we speak). Lastly, cleaning my engine and coming up with a couple other mods for the grille and extra lights.

Pics to come!

Autolites or anything that's equivalent but nothing upgraded, are KK's run best with coppers.

I just bought the cheapest ones that my auto part store had
