Thanks man. She's still a work in progress - I'm replacing the rear rotors, pads, and ebrake shoes as soon as my order from NAPA gets here. I wanted new calipers too but couldn't swing the added core cost this week and I wanted to stay with ultra premium rotors and pads. I believe in over-doing everything where possible.

Then it'll be the front rotors/pads, NYS inspection, and after that I'll begin saving up for some better tires. I'm between Yokohama Geolandr A/T's and Firestone M/T's. The Geolandr's do fantastic in snow and let me pull off alot off-road in a 2002 Mazda Tribute ES that I probably shouldn't have been able to pull off. One time I broke the rear axle and destroyed the ABS system  The poor thing just wasn't built for what I was doing with it.

So I did some things today. My list is slowly getting smaller...then always grows so more lol. Well either way, wired in a fuse block (that's off the list), wires my LEDs (YES another item crossed off), AND I wired my CB today (woo, this was probably on the list for the least amount of time).

Well of course a pic of the lights, more to come.

Well now I have to rewire my KC lights, wire in a small secret, sand and paint my sliders, remount the sliders and skids, and extend my breathers (starting with the rear). Probably some more I'm missing, but who knows.

Replaced the windshield...
I drove through a nasty sandstorm about 1.5 years ago which sandblasted the glass with thousands of tiny specs. Finally replaced it and love having clear vision once again!

Haha that is pretty funny! How much did that set ya back?

I washed and waxed mine today. I love the white when it is clean (about half a day a week) but dear god bugs love to commit suicide on the thing... and pollen likes to make the whole thing look yellowed. When it rains... the road blackens the vehicle. When it snows... the whole thing becomes snow sludge brown. I am seriously considering getting it painted a different color one day. They say black vehicles are the hardest to maintain - I disagree! White is by far the hardest color to maintain I have ever had.

Also ordered front brakes and rotors to match the back I replaced last week. It drives so much better now that I replaced the ebrake too. Got NAPA Ultra premium rotors and reactive one pads on the way for the front. Those should get here monday and then it is on to saving up for real(er) tires. I'm settled on the Yokohama Geolandr A/t G015's. I'm probably gonna go with LT 245/70/16. Just a tad bigger than I have on there now, shouldn't cause any rubbing , and should satisfy me until I can eventually afford a good lift. Plus I have had Yokohama tires on all my vehicles ever and I am a loyal fan.

Me during install:

We used the same folks a few months back. Got an extra discount because we had 3 done at the same time. KA, Santa Fe, and 89 Cherokee. They did a great job for us. With OEM looking windows too. Total was under a grand. Next best price was $1,200 and we had to drive there. Ha, NOT.
I discovered my windshield had been replaced before. They found scratches under the window in the paint. I was watching the whole time so I know they did not do it...
I got my ride new with only a few miles on it, so it must have been replaced after the dealer got it on their lot. Anyway, the Safelite guys put some extra sealant over that area so it would not rust. WAY cool of them to do that @ no charge, IMO.
Would recommend them to anyone looking for a window!

Safelite is the best. I had them replace the windshield on my JKU after a rock took it out. They replaced it with a stock replacement and the best part? It cost me $0!!

South Carolina has a zero glass deductible law.

I had the same thing a few years back. Free safelite replacement and they did it while I was at work. I have another small chip that I'm waiting to spread. Gotta be longer than a dollar bill (6") to replace for free

"out of trail ?" Not sure if you mean on the street... If so;
Can you? Yes.
Is it legal? Not sure.
Is it safe? Not really. They are put there for a reason...

If you mean "out on trail ?
Yes you can. Disconnect and properly secure the parts, or remove them.
Just be sure to reconnect before going back on the street for safety and possibly legal reasons.

Replaced the chrome mouldings with black Cherokee ones and removed the Latitude stickers. Next is to do the headlights. Got a quote from a body shop for poops and giggles. That would've been $180.

I wish I pulled the trigger on those cherokee mouldings when I had the eBay listing. Now I can't find them anywhere
