If you come across a water crossing how deep can a KK go?

So that:
1. water does not enter the cabin at all
2. water does not go into the intake
3. does not effect the exhuast

Yes I have never delt with water crossing before, so that is why I am asking.

At this point, if I ever did come across one and I could not avoid it, I would walk it first to make sure it was not to deep.
I would also make sure the force of the water would not over turn the Jeep.

1. I've had water about 2/3" up the door, nothing came in. The door seal did it's job.
2. Just measure from the lowest part of your intake to the ground. You would really have to submerge your truck to have to worry about the intake sucking water.
3. Shouldn't have any exhaust issues. I got stuck in 3 feet of mud and water and my exhaust was submerged for about 20 min. No issues.

Unless you plan on off-roading in the ocean or you have a major flood in the range of a disaster you won't have any water issues. Most trails will only have a foot or two of water and usually the monitored trails will close down if there is major flooding.

Do not submerge your vehicle in deeper water then your breathers go,things can get expensive real fast if something injestes water.Make sure you check all fluid after a deep water fording,diffs(F/R),trans,t-case,and engine.

I was by myself ... which is why I was stuck for like 20 min, waiting for someone to come pull me out. I think I might have a pic on my phone. I'll have to check and get back to ya.
