I just found a pretty cool article on the new KK. It has a few pics (one is an interior shot), but the thing that surprised me most was that they are calling it a CHEROKEE  The name Liberty was NOT mentioned at all. You can view the article here http://www.worldcarfans.com/spyphotos.cfm/spyphotoid/6061026.002/country/acf/jeep/spy-photos-all-new-jeep-cherokee

So does this mean that LOST will become COST ???

Wow, look at all the monitoring gear on the dash  Looking at one of the photos there is some badging on the side; its covered over pretty well but looking at the top of it I would venture to say it reads 'Liberty'. Looking at the 'who we are' on the website they say its based in Finland, so maybe they're thinking Jeep will continue to brand it the 'Cherokee' outside the U.S.

What Kevin said, Libertys are Cherokees in Europe. I believe it has something to do w/ Subaru owning the Liberty name in Europe and Asia.

I wonder how much the duct tape costs to replace once its warranty wears out.

Hate the shifter knob.

Tailgate still looks like the Saturn Vue.

I was aware about the whole Liberty/Cherokee name, I just didn't realize the site was based in Finland.

On another note, did you notice that there will be an optional 4.0, and a diesel by next year? Still not sure if I like it though.

Libertys are "New Cherokees" in Europe.

If you ask somebody if he knowes what a Liberty is , he could give you no answer.

I'm a proud owner of one.

Please excuse my bad English.

See you

Hi JJsKJ,

thanks for that. But I can say nothing about your german. I never heard or read it.
But I'm sure it's not to bad.

I've got to say I was suprised to see the L in LOST was Liberty ...., as it a Chrerokee in Aust. The Sub does have a Liberty here, not the kind you would take off road. At first I thought Liberty was a little soft for a name of the Jeep, but I guess I'm now used to it.
