Hello!
My name is Jimmy and we put a deposit down on a UK spec 2008 CRD Limited this morning
We already own a Patriot but needed a tow vehicle for our caravan so have had to trade in our Mini..... So bit of a change from that to a Cherokee/Liberty :ROTFL: we would have kept the Mini but the Patriot is much better on fuel so made sense to keep that as a commuter vehicle!

Anyways! We originally went to look at the JK Wrangler CRD and the KJ Cherokee but the JK would not have been suitable for our needs (towing capacity) and the KJ was a bit agricultural (perhaps the one I took out was a bit rough!). While at the dealer we spotted a red Jeep up the corner, looked brand new but only £11k, and had only covered 13,000 miles  took it on a test drive and realised it was the Jeep for us :SOMBRERO: in my heart I actually wanted the wrangler, but my head told me that the KK was the right vehicle for us :)

So, Saturday we collect our new member to the Jeep family, cannot wait :JEEPIN:

Hi all,
Been on the board for a little while now. I've been shopping for a KK for about 2 months. After figuring out what color we wanted, I found a 2011 about 4-1/2 hours from the house. Picked it up yesterday. I dont plan on doing any mods to it. We'll use it as a daily driver. I'll put a hitch on it and some Weathertec mats but thats about it. I'm saving my mod money for a Wrangler!

Thanks for looking!

Had her about 5 months now, awesome decision! Just trying to learn as I go. Lots of plans to mod her up. Many stupid questions will follow, haha.

Nice KK! I don't think I've seen LEDs so cleanly flush-mounted on our bumper before. How are those LEDs too? I'm looking to buy those same ones and have them angled out like yours are.

They're the the flush mount pods riveted in. They're nice on the angle! I love them they give me a lot of light to see what's on the side of me comin up!

Would like to say this seems to be a pretty sweet site. Taking possession of a 2011/31k mile KK sport in mineral gray tomorrow afternoon. 3 hour drive to the dealer.

I've been lurking here a couple weeks now to shore up my decision to pick this truck as opposed to any other SUV. From what I can see I made the correct choice. I can't wait.

1st order of business is a receiver and hitch as I'm moving from Tx to upstate NY and need to tag along a couple of roll around tool cabinets.

Try to make sure you add in the mechanical fan and aux transmission cooler. I believe this will allow you to get the extra 1500lbs for towing.

I'd really like too. Unfortunately money's an issue.

I'd actually be surprised if I was even at the 2000 lbs range with what I have to tow. While it is a long trip it's relatively flat and I'm only making it once. Doubt the truck will ever tow again after that. So I think I can get away without that for at least this trip. If it turns out I do end up towing bigger down the road though that's definitely on my list.

Just wanted to thank everyone for all the great info on this site. With all your help finding all the parts and performing the install on my ome/bilstein lift was a breeze. The new tires should be here in a few days, hopefully by then I can figure out how to post pictures on here...lol.
