First of all welcome to your own 2008+ Jeep Liberty Section. We are glad you are here and hope this section ends up as helpful and the others sections have been for the other Jeep Models represented here at L.O.S.T.

Second of all, don't let any posts that shed negative light on your KK purchase run you off. All Jeep models, especially new or changed models, are scrutinized and picked apart...it is just your "right of passage" into the Jeep World. This does not mean that "flaming" or "attacking" will be tolerated in any way. When the Jeep Liberty first arrived 2001-2002, we went thru a "baptism of fire"...I don't think you will approach anything like that here at L.O.S.T.

Gotta' say, I hate how it's a carbon copy of the Commander. But, I love the improvements they have made, and I love how they have kept the off-road ability intact.

Thanks for the welcome. Did my first oil and filter change and found that removing the filter is a challenge to get off. They didn't put much room in there and it's nice that they put a spout there to let the oil drip out without touching anything else when you loosen it up. Finally got it. I'm an RVer and intend to install a tow bar bracket this weekend, should be fun. Luv the way this thing drives so far. Got all the factory off road stuff on it and plan to add more as soon as I can. Just isn't enough stuff out there yet

i dont know if any one has reported yet. I have a 08 liberty 4X4. I love the truck. The one i can say that it needs a lift. I have put on the rock krawler 3.5 lift and i love it. i have no had the chance to take it off road with the new lift but will be making a run to NC here soon.

Welcome to the board ... Post pics and info on your KK in the main KK forum area. I think you are the only KK, on here, with the RK lift. I just ordered my RK lift but it looks like you beat me to it.

I have had many jeeps,, Started with YJ (which i still have) a few XJ's , a ZJ, KJ, and now KK... Have to admit that the KK drives and rides the best,, still stock at this point but just a few weeks away from lifting, and doing other MODs.. so let any and all think what they want, but the KK fills the XJ's shoes easily

replaced '05 Liberty Limited 4x4 (got rear ended by 3/4 ton Chevy @45 mph) w/ 2010 Lib Limited 4x4 and all stock off-road bells and whistles (love the media center Sirius Sat, GPS, bluetooth, etc). It came w/feaux chrome wheels- first 2 go!
Have installed a tow-bar baseplate 4 towing flat behind my 31' MHome. Now looking for a compatible bull-bar for some off road lites. Took it to Death Valley Ca and some mild trails, climbs and descends well considering the stock condition.

I loved my '05, but this 2010 has many refinements.
